An excellent detached two storey villa with a private heated pool. Bedrooms are on the lower level with the living accommodation upstairs. A door from the lounge leads onto an upper terrace with table and chairs and views of the sea. On this upper level is a dining area, kitchen and the second bathroom.
On the ground floor there are three bedrooms, one double and two twin rooms with a full family bathroom.
Outside you can relax on the shaded porch terrace or round the pool with plenty of room for your sunbeds. The garden is walled and gated. An ideal villa for those wishing to be centrally located but in a quiet residential area. This villas is located approximately a 5 minute walk from Peurto Del Carmen beach and town.

The Lanzarote Region

Lanzarote is situated just 70 miles off the coast of Africa and is the most easterly of the Canary Islands. The island is 37 miles (60km) long and 12 miles (20 km) wide, making it the fourth largest island in the Canaries.

Lanzarote enjoys a mild dry climate with average daytime temperatures ranging from about 21°C in January to 29°C in August. Annual rainfall is just 140mm (5.5 inches). This makes Lanzarote the perfect year-round destination.

As with the other Canary Islands, Lanzarote is Volcanic in origin. Due to the recent eruptions during the 18th and 19th Centuries, many parts of Lanzarote appear to be from another world, often described as 'lunar' or 'Martian', so much so that parts of 'Planet of the Apes' were shot here. The dry climate (and lack of erosion) means that the Volcanic Landscape appears much as it did just after the eruptions.

Amongst the many stunning Volcanic features of Lanzarote is the longest Volcanic Tunnel in the world, the Atlantida Tunnel, which is over 7 km long and includes the La Cueva de los Verdes and Jameos del Agua.

Despite the Volcanic nature of the island, Lanzarote has several beautiful white beaches such as at Playa Blanca and Papagayo.

Local authority regulations on the amount and style of development mean that there is no billboard advertising and no high rise buildings in Lanzarote (with the exception of the Grand Hotel in Arrecife)

Puerto del Carmen Area

Whilst our properties are set back in residential streets they are all just a short walk from the main beach front. This lively resort has a beach road with shops, bars and restaurants along one side and a wide beach of golden sand with a promenade along the other. There are sunbeds and umbrellas for hire for those who wish to relax or water sports for those who seek more activity. A variety of sports including tennis and squash are available at the sports centre near the Fariones Hotel. The Puerto del Carmen beaches fly the Blue Flag awarded by the EEC for cleanliness and lack of contamination. This is a resort with something for everyone.

Getting There

There are daily flights to Lanzarote with Aer Lingus from Dublin and Cork. This airport is well serviced by charter airlines also.

Car hire is relatively cheap in Lanzarote. A hire car is the best option for discovering the remote wilderness regions. It only takes about 40 minutes to cross the entire island from North to South by car, and about 25 minutes across.

We offer an airport transfer service run by a reliable local company who will meet you at Lanzarote airport. They will transport you by minibus to your villa or apartment. On your departure day, at a pre-arranged time, they will collect you and return back to the airport for your flight home.

Guest Book

We stayed in Casa Joel for 11 days at Easter and it was perfect. I travelled with my parents, two sisters and three boys (aged 8,5 and 1) and the villa suited everyone. We have been travelling to Lanzarote for many years and I don't think that we will ever go back to staying in a hotel again. The holiday got off to a perfect start with our airport transfer which Sue arranged which I would recommend to everyone. All of the staff on
the ground in Lanzarote and particular Sue were outstanding. I will be recommending Lanzarote Leisure Villas to all of my friends and hope to travel there again. Thank you very much.
