The Costa Del Sol Region

The Costa del Sol stretches along just over 150 kilometres of Málaga province and is one of Spain's most popular tourist destinations. The area's mild climate is the root attraction that makes it possible to enjoy the beaches and a wide variety of outdoor activities year round.

Costa del Sol & Costa Tropicana has probably the best climate in Spain. Ideal for all sorts of activities and is of great historical interest.

 

Caleta da Velez Area

Golf golf golf - need I say more. The apartment is on a quiet gated urbanisation - and very secure. It has everything really for the family with small kids or even big kids (Dad included in that one!). Underground parking and a lift to the ground level apartment make it suitable even for Gran & Grandad!

Situated on the coast the apartment is ideally placed near the major beaches and the marina and harbour of Caleta de Velez.

It is an ideal starting point for visiting Nerja and the 'Balcon de Europa', the 'white' village of Frigliana, Torrox Costa, Granada, and lots of towns and villages along the coast each with their own beaches and their own little bit of culture. Easy access to the Motorway can get you to the Airport at Malaga in 35mins. Driving inland and up in the mountains you are likely to arrive upon a Bodega at any turn. The national park of the Sierra Nevada is within easy driving distance where I came across wild pig and antelope while abseiling down the waterfalls. A must if visiting the area.

 

Getting There

Fly to Malaga - Autovia 7 for 30mins.
Exit for Caleta de Velez and Torre del Mar. Shopping complex nearby with waterpark etc. Easy distance to all towns up the coast including the little port of Caleta de Valez and Torre del Mar.

Alternatively, get a bus from Airport to Malaga central bus station then a bus to Caleta de Valez. Lots of car hire companies and Taxis. A local collection service from Airport by Taxi cost approx €55

Although our policy is to prohibit pets we would consider small pets e.g. lap dog as companions. The apartment is ideal for families of all ages wanting to soak up some of the genuine Spanish atmosphere. There are strict policies on the complex as regards noise after dark.

Refundable breakages deposit required.
Price includes normal usage of gas, electricity, water and air conditioning.
