Mild climate all year round with warm to hot Summers. Napoleon marched trough Golfe Juan, hence the Avenue Napoleon in Golfe Juan. There is also a festival commerating him each year. Grasse, 20 minutes by car is wold capital of perfumes and Eze about 30 minutes is well worth seeing. It is a village perched above the sea, a haven for artists. Also Saint Paul about the same distance, A typical medieval village. Saint Jean Cap Ferrat is a charming fishing village on a peninsula with the Rothchild villa and gardens.

Flower Festival in April - Cagnes sur Mer, Bridge Festival in Antibes/Juan le Pins - May. Film Festival Cannes - May and Grand Prix Monaco also May. Show jumbing internation, Acting Festival and public International Festival all in Cannes in June. Jazz festival in Antibes Juan les Pins and Nice in July. Boat trips around the bay from Golfe Juan and also trips to Lerins islands.
Getting There
Fly direct to Nice from Dublin/Cork with Aer Lingus.
Car hire available at airport, also bus. There is also a bus available at airport to take you to Nice train station. You can get a train there to take you to Golfe June. Trains run approximately every 10 minutes.
