This fantastic T2+1 (3 bedrooms) first floor modern Albufeira apartment is situated in the prestigious complex of Solário de São José, a superior up-market complex with an excellent range of on-site facilities.

There are opportunities to enjoy all water sports, golf and horse riding.
The Zoo marine sea life centre is close by, together with a large Waterpark, Slide and Splash and the huge Algarve Shopping Centre to satisfy any 'Retail Therapy' needs!If you want to get away from the coast for the day then a drive to Monchique and Foia (the highest point of the Algarve) is highly recommended. On the way you could visit the castle in Silves and stop for lunch of chicken Piri-Piri in the small mountain town of Monchique. It will take you less than an hour to get there.
Two large shopping centres are 'Algarve Shopping' in Guia and 'The Forum' in Faro just 20-30 minutes by car. The Algarve Shopping is a large mall which is approx. 5 minutes drive away. Taxi costs from Albufeira 10euros each way. Here you will find a variety of shops, a big supermarket, a bowling alley, a multi-screen cinema (most films are in English with Portuguese sub titles) and a food hall.
Alternative ways of exploring the Algarve are by joining one of the many jeeps that head out each day (high season) to explore the unspoilt Algarve.
There are plenty of great boat trips leaving from Albufeira every day. You can choose from a full or a half day and this can often include a trip into the caves and grottoes of the beautiful Algarvian coast line. If you fancy a drive into Spain then the border is only a 50 minute drive and Seville approx two hours depending on traffic.
As the Algarve spans a large area with wonderful sights and attractions, car hire is highly recommended to explore, but not essential as Solario is located a few minutes walk to the center of Albufeira.

AerLingus and Ryanair have daily flights to Faro Airport from Ireland.
I organise your taxi transfers with yellowfishtransfers.com. An excellent reliable service at competitive rates. Price is currently 60euros for 1-4 guests RETURN from Faro airport to Albufeira.
You will be greeted at Faro by a representative from Yellowfish and taken to Solario where you will be personally greeted by a member of our Management Company who will spend time showing you around the complex and Apartment and answer any questions you may have if not already answered by myself.

I just wanted to say a big thank you for letting us take your apartment for the week, we had an absolute ball. The apartment is just gorgeous, it was spotless and had everything we could have needed.
The complex was great, we ended up staying at the pool everyday we liked it so much.The towels were changed on Thursday evening and Howard was very nice and called into us at the start of the week.
All in all, we couldn't have asked for anything more and really enjoyed the week

Just a quick message to say we had a fantastic holiday in the apartment.It is a lovely place to stay and the facilities are great. We were able to walk to the Strip and the Old Town. We spent a lot of time by the pool I have to admit and that was very relaxing. I would not hesitate to recommend your apartment to anyone thinking of visiting the Algarve.

the apartment was brilliant, shining throughout and we loved it. thanks alot for the welcome pack it was much appreciated. all staff were courteous and very polite. i would rate the facilities very, very high and will strongly recommend it to family and friends. all services were great.
my son who has a learning disability was very content and loved the place, the pool was brilliant and he absolutely loved it and had a ball.
definitely, we hope to do so again next year. A brilliant, safe, happy and luxurious location, suitable for young and older families which I would strongly recommend.
