St Andrews is low rise complex of 50 apartments. This part of the Marbella region does not permit high rise developments and the views are wonderful.Our apartment is on the first floor and the terrace is large and gets all day sun. The views are lovely over the pine trees and the 7th par 3 hole of Cabopino golf course and down to the sea. The terrace is a relaxing place to dine or have a glass of wine in the evening and watch the sunset on the shimmering sea.
There are sun loungers and umbrellas for the use of residents and guests at the pool. Ther are also lots of shady areas in the garden and around the pool.
Cabopino (cape of pines) is known as the best kept secret in the Marbella area. It has a lovely golden sandy beach with beach bars.The adjacent marina has a wide selection of bars and restaurants. There is supervised car-parking at the beach.
Golfers are spoiled for choice with the local Cabopino golfcourse and driving range. Santa Maria at Elviria is 5minutes away. La Cala golf resort, Santana and Cala Nova ar approx 6 km to the east past Calahonda and the charming little town of La Cala. La Cala has a lovely little catholic church. It has a nice selection of shops and a market on Wednesdays. Marbella is a 10 min. drive and Puerto Banus a 20 mins drive. Local Buses to Marbella and Fuengirola passes nearby every 20 mins.

The Costa Del Sol Region
Wonderful sunny climate mild with sun about 15deg by day in winter and in the 20-30deg by day in summer. Winter and spring evenings get chilly and in summer they are balmy.
The andalucian region is rich with tradition reflecting its history .
A book on Andalucia located in the apartment will give you all the historical background of the region and suggest visits to Ronda, Granada, Seville and Cordoba. The trips take planning and are well worthwhile. The local tourist offices in Marbella are also very helpful and have monthly publications on festivals and activities. Spain is rich in tradition and processions are frequent and not to be missed for colour tradition and atmosphere.
A day trip to Tangier in Morocco is also easy to organise and on a clear evening the Atlas Mountains can be seen from the Terrace. Gibralter with the great rock dominates the coast and is avery popular place to visit - you willl need your passport.
Marbella Area
Enjoy the lovelyy beaches, visit beautiful local towns like Marbella and Mijas.
Visit the buzzing Puerto Banus marina area by night.
Enjoy the shopping, both in the lovely town of Marbella and in the shopping centres of La Canada and Corte Ingles at PuertoBanus and Myrmar shopping centre at Fuengeirola.
Sumer and winter are all marked by festivals and processions. The local tourist office (Marbella Orange Square) have free monthly publication which will advertise all events.
Religious Easter Week Processions are very impressive. The Blessing of fishing fleets in Fuengirola is also worth seeing.
Flamenco is of course very popular in Andalucia and tourists abd spanish both enjoy the festival evenings.

The apartment is furnished to a high standard and has airconditioning and heating.
The lounge has two comfortable sofas and TV is connected for free to air channels (incl bbc and itv). The lounge leads to the terrace. Bedroom and loungedoors/windows have eletric shutters.The dining table on terrace seats six and the terrace has eletrical sockets facilitating use of the eletric BBQ. The Terrace has two sun loungers and an umbrella.
The dining table seats six with 6 comfortable leather chairs. The sideboard contains tablecloths, placemats etc.
The kitchen is well equipped and as well as facilities listed above there are lots of dishes,cutlery,and pots and pans and utensils for cooking.The utility room is off the kitchen and houses washer/drier and clothes airer and iron/ironing board and cleaning utensils. The eletric BBQ which can be used on Terrace is stored here.
There are good built-in wardrobes in each bedroom. two sets of linen and towels are provided for each guest.Each bedroom has a shutter which keeps apartment cool and dark when required. An extra single fold-up bed is available for a fifth guest
Each bathroom has wc, whb, bidet and a bath and powershower.
