The apartment is situated within the historical walls of Lucca. It is on the 2nd floor (top) of a typical Tuscan townhouse, and is very bright and spacious. Great restaurants and local shops nearby. The apartment has central heating and air-conditioning. A small office is equipped with an ADSL modem for internet access. There are 5 bikes available for guest use (4 adult + 1 child) - most locals cycle in the centre of Lucca!

Good train and bus connections for Florence and Pisa airports.

The Tuscany Region

Tuscany is beautiful all year round. There are many places of historical, cultural and architectural interest - Lucca itself being one such place. Lucca has good transport links and is a convenient base from which to access the whole of Tuscany.

Lucca Area

The renaissance walls of Lucca are of particluar interest. Within the walls there are numerous places of interest e.g. the Guingi tower, cathedral, many historical churches and piazzas. Lucca is the birthplace of Puccini, and there are many festivals celebrating both his work and the work of other composers.
Every July in Lucca there is a contemporary music festival held within the walls. Within the local area there are many beautiful villas which are open to the public. The landscape surrounding Lucca is very beautiful.
