The house is a two minute walk from the port of Cala Figuera which is often described as the most romantic port in Mallorca. It is in a very quiet road overlooking woodland, yet ideally situated for the village.

The house itself comprises Master Bedroom with double bed and balcony, Second Bedroom with bunks and a single bed, Lounge/Diner with Leather Suite and Quality dining table and chairs, Kitchen, 2 bathrooms, private garden and roof top sun terrace.

The Mallorca/Majorca Region

Mallorca has a wonderful climate throughout the season which runs from May to the end of October. Palma, the capital, is famous for it's wonderful Cathedral. Other places of interest to visit are Soller, Valldemosa and the hill top monasteries.

Cala Figuera Area

Cala Figuera itself is a quiet village perfect for relaxing in. However around the port there are many excellent restaurants and bars. Cala Figuera also has a Pharmacy, 2 supermarkets, an ATM and many gift shops. Further afield the nightlife of Cala D'Or is only about 20km away. From the port you can also take trips on a glass bottomed boat.

The beach at Cala Santanyi is only a 5 minute drive away, although I prefer to walk there (it takes 20 mins). There are many other beaches within a few minutes drive eg. Cala Mondrage, S'Amarador and Cala Llombards. A small landtrain runs from Cala Figuera to the local beaches daily and to Santanyi on market days (Wednesday and Saturday).

Getting There

Fly to Palma de Mallorca from Dublin or Shannon.
The house is about 50Kms from the airport - directions will be sent when the deposit has been paid.
It is possible to get a bus from Palma to Cala Figuera.
Taxis cost around 60euro

Just to say we had a great holiday. Your Villa was fabulous - could not believe how big the rooms were. Your photographs did not do it justice! Palma was huge - went on the bus from Santanyi (was going to drive but got cold feet). All the beaches round that area are beautiful.
