L' Antica Colonia is a charming 18th century villa in a superb location with breathtaking view on the Lake Orta, a small romantic lake in the northern part of Italy (Piedmont) close to the Lake Maggiore. The residence has just been renovated with special care of details between old and modern style. The high standard of comfort and the familiar management make it the ideal place for pleasant holidays in total relax and psycho-physical well-being.

The residence is located in Crabbia, a small and quiet village at about 3.5 km. from Orta San Giulio and is the ideal point of departure of interesting trips into nature and culture at any time of the year.
The villa is structured on three floors with completely equipped apartments that enjoy a large panoramic view on the Lake Orta and the Isle San Giulio.

The residence offers five two-rooms apartments, a one-room apartment and a separate cottage. It welcomes a total of 14 guests. The accommodations offer a high standard of comfort: Sat-TV, independent heating system, fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine and dish-washer, bathroom with shower, hair-dryer and washing machine, DVD/CD/MP3 player.

Another tourist attractions in Piedmont are the lakes, the Lake Maggiore, the major tourist lake in Piedmont, and, more modest, Lake Orta.
Worth visiting the Piedmont hills, full of tidy rows of vines and tasting the famous wine and the typical and traditional food.

Pettenasco (lake Orta) Area

Pettenasco, one of the most romantic villages in the Lake Orta is surrounded by a delightful landscape and lies in the midst of delightful and varied mountain country shank, up of lago d'Orta apart from the mass tourism. The area around Lake Orta has long been a favorite tourists, thanks to the quiet beauty of the landscape, its fascinating history and its wealth of artistic treasures. Lake Orta lies to the west of Lake Maggiore, in the northern Italy. There are several small beaches on Lake Orta. The whole area is extremely well serviced by shops and restaurants here are many places to visit in the local area. It’s a wonderful place for day trips for adults and children, great walks, and a good selection of sporting like fishing, golf, tennis and other local activities are available.
