The property is situated in Vilar do Golfe beside the 9th hole of the Quinta do Lago South golf course, only minutes from a beautiful pool area and Bobby Jones Bar and restaurant. Downstairs there is a lounge area, a dining area and a fully fitted kitchen. There is also a twin bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. There are two further twin bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom. Outside there is a patio area with garden furniture & also a roof terrace. There is a small supermarket a short walk away, where there is also a cafe & reception area. Free WiFi is available outside the Reception area.

The Algarve Region

The Algarve is situated along the south coast of Portugal. It enjoys a very warm climate with almost year round sunshine. There is plenty to do along the coast from water sports, fishing, water parks, horse riding and of course golf! There are many golf courses on the Algarve, four of which are located very near the villa. There are also two fine shopping centres one, in Faro and the other in Guia near Albufeira.

Quinta do Lago Area

Quinta do Lago is a large devleopment of privately owned houses ranging from studio appartments to large detached villas. Vilar do Golfe is situated within the estate of Quinta do Lago. It is a safe haven for children and also a Golfers' Paradise. There are 4 golf courses located within Quinta do Lago, and guests in our villa can avail of discounts in Quinta do Lago golf course. The Rio Formosa beach is a 5 minute drive away and is accessed via a wooden pedestrian bridge. This a beautiful beach with miles of golden sand. There are water sports avaialble on the beach and also on a nearby lake.Within the estate there is a shopping centre with bars restaurants and shops. Vilar do Golf has a beautiful pool area with 4 pools (1 indoor), jacuzzi, playground, gym and a kids club in high season. There is also a snack bar at the pool.

Getting There

Lots of flights available to Faro Airport with Ryanair or Aer Lingus. The property is about 20 minutes drive from the Airport. Taxis & several car hire companies available at the airport, although renting a car online generally works out cheaper.

We have stayed at Vilar do Golf on many occassions and are used to this type of villa which is reasonably spacious, well equiped and maintained. Without doubt though this villa has one of the best locations on the complex being just 70 yards from the Bobby Jones bar ( with entertainment on most nights) and the swimming pool complex and adjacent to the 9th fairway on the South course. We had a great family holiday and will return again.

"We have stayed in 37 Vilar do Golf twice & have found it to be a very comfortable villa. It is in an excellent location in Vilar do Golf being located next to the 18th on the South Course, literally down the fairway from the Bar & Grill & also across the road from the fantastic leisure center. The facilities at Vilar do Golf are great. Our children love the heated indoor swimming pool, outdoor playground & indoor playroom. These indoor areas are fantastic when it rains. There are three other outdoor pools and an indoor gym. Vilar do Golf & indeed the entire Quinta do Lago complex are extremely safe & very well maintained. We would highly recommend this villa for a relaxing holiday. The beaches, restaurants, golf & shopping are all first class."

I spent a relaxing enjoyable week in this property. the property has wonderfull surroundings in a very private area. a paradise for golfers. alll amenities and facilities one could want are available at your finger tips. i would recommend this property to everyone. i could not speak highly enough about it.

This is our fourth time in Villar Do Golf and by far the best and most relaxing holiday yet. The villa's convenience to pool and other facilities could not be more central and with two young kids it makes all the difference not having to load and reload cars to get to the pool.
20 mins from the airport and 10 mins from beautiful clean sandy beaches make this a great choice.
House is brilliant and safe for kids which helps you relax that bit more..I would go back in the morning and could not recommend it high enough.

We've been going to Villar do Golf for 15 years but this year was without any doubt the best one. The location of the house is fantastic. The kids loved the place.

Have been going to Vilar do Golf over the past 12 years. Have stayed in No 37 for the last two years and would recommend it to everyone. Would hope to return here in 2011. The property is ideally situated in its distance from both the Restaurant and pool area. As a keen golfer, if I am not on the course one has a wonderful view of the fairway practically outside the door. The property is very well maintained. Home from home.
