This 7cone Trulli has been restored by local award winning artisans to give the feeling of stepping back in time. Much of the original interior has been retained while all mod cons such as central heating and air-conditioning have been added.The round wheelchair friendly bathroom with Travertine mosaic tiles and marble counter tops is a recent adition.
In complete contrast to the eclectic 'shabby Chic' interior design is the surprise of the 15meter long turquoise pool tiled in venetian glass tiles and surrounded by sun loungers, umbrellas, wooden decking and Travertine stone pateos.The shallow conversation area in the the pool is perfect for lounging about on family holidays or on a romantic break. Trulli Mimosa is already very popular with honeymooners because of its romantic setting.

You arrive at the Trulli via remote controlled gates and a short 'via bianca' driveway to park under an olive tree or the enormus cypres tree, under which hang various hammocks, a promise of lazy days to come .As you round the corner the view opens out to a large stone pateo scattered with dining tables and chairs, the Trullo is covered with pots and vases tumbling with geraniums and bougainvilleas. A rose climbs around the arch of the large double doors of the master bedroom, a big metal bed covered with a patchwork quilt and scattered cushions perfect for a siesta after lunch when the sun is high dominates the room.
The main entrance is also off the patio and leads into the main room ,the kitchen is in the right hand alcove , the left alcove (where the grandparents traditionally slept) has a single couchbed. The 'back bedroom' is fitted with twin beds which push together to make a double, as the stone walls are over 2 meters thick this room is cool in summer and cosy in winter. A log stove in the kitchen adds a romantic touch when the days are cooler. This romantic villa is a very popular for honeymoons in Puglia.
As holidays in Italy involve much sampling of the local produce there is an extra fridge freezer in the laundry room around the corner, where the extra abundant fruit and vegetables from the market, and the wine, prosecco and beer produced locally are kept cool. There is an outside shower in this area near the pool.
Through the seasons the countryside changes, often dramaticly. In spring the land is green and full of wild flowers, in summer these dry and are ploughed under to prevent fires(no chemical deterrents at Mimosa).Autumn brings green sprouts wild and fungi (don't eat unless you know whats what) In late autumn the olives are harvested and the countryside is covered with nets to catch the stray olives and families work together to gather in the harvest.

This is a wheelchair friendly villa in Puglia and the bathroom has been designed for wheelchair use. This property can also be rented with two other Trulli villas, making it an ideal choice for an extended family gathering or intimate wedding venue.

The Puglia/Molise Region
The heal of Italy, known as Puglia or Apulia is quickly becoming known as the new Tuscany. Whilst so very different the comparison in justified with excellent beaches, wonderful architecture, warm friendly people and some of the best food and wine you will ever encounter. Puglia is still very affordable and local produce, wine and eating out are inexpensive.
Places of interest include Lecce, known as the Florence of the South, Ostuni for its wonderfull winding roads and quiant restaurants, and Martina Franca for its vibrant market.
Ostuni Area
Ostuni is known as the white city and is known for its festivals, restaurants and wonderful views. It is a vibrant town with a character all its own. Set on a “rock” its Cathedral surveys the surrounding countryside for miles. Many bars and restaurants are literally dug into the rock and create unique locations in addition to the superb food.
Ceglia Messapica sometimes feels as if it was stuck in a time wharp. The narrow winding streets, tiny quaint shops and restaurants are uniquely Italian and well worth a visit.
There always seems to be a festivale going on in both towns and are a wonderful way to experience Italian life.

Fly toBari or Brindisi with Ryanair.The drive from Pescara is longer but availability is often much better and cheaper with Ryanair.
Fly direct to Naples with Aerlingus, some visitors like to be in the car and driving rather than waiting in aeroports
Fly to Rome or Milane Linate and connect with Alitalia to Brindisi or Bari
Fly Hapag loyd (TWI) from Munich direct to Bari Aerlingus is a possible conection home (but doesnt work on way out)

Our local agent will meet you in the local town and drive with you to the property, where you will then be shown around the trulli and shown how the house runs.Our agent can arange extra cleaning, bikes,the chef,cooking classes,outings, guided tours etc for you. Our agent can meet you at the aeroport and guide you to the trulli (for an extra charge) which is handy if you have lots of luggage and a small car.Our agent is on hand for emergencies and as a local knows the local doctors etc

A chef can be arranged for one or more nights,
Cooking classes and demonstrations can be aranged , after learning such skills as pasta from scratch you can then sit down and our cheff will serve the food as a dinner party.
This property can be booked along with its "sister" trullo 200 yards away - Trulli Stella on our website - ideal for weddings, parties, anniversaries, family reunions.
there is a restaurant approx 30 minutes walk from the trullo.
Depending on the weather the pool is open from early May to late October.

BOOKING TERMS
- 500 euro refundable security deposit is required on this villa, payable with the final balance payment and will be refunded to you on your return.
- All Heating is powered by gas and Air Conditioning is powered by electricity , power is metered. Meter reading will be taken on arrival, and any excess will be payable locally at 0.25cts per kilowatt. Gas and electricity usage is included to the value of 50 euro per booking. All usage above this is payable before departure in euros.Meter will be taken on arrival, and any excess will be payable locally at 0.25cts per kilowatt.
- Final Cleaning is included in the price of the villa.
