Arc 1950 Le Village is in French Savoie, in an area called Vanoise-Tarentaise - and more precisely, Haute-Tarentaise.
A land of white gold and some of the world's finest skiing, Vanoise-Tarentaise is home to a cluster of prestigious resorts such as Tignes, Val d'Isère, Courchevel and Méribel.

• We suggest you try out the typically Savoyard dishes in the local restaurants: charcuterie and cured meats, but also the fabulous local cheeses and wines.
• When walking in the traditional villages round Arc 1950 or in the high pastures, have a look at the rural houses, built in a way that perfectly fits their natural surroundings. The landscapes here have been shaped by the peasants, farmers and craftspeople who have given rise to a folklore, a local dialect and a very strong mountain-dwelling culture.

 

Getting There

Located at the highest part of the French alpine ski resort, Les Arcs, the Radisson SAS Resort, Arc 1950 is 25 kilometres above Bourg Saint Maurice, the nearest city and train station.

Driving directions

From Paris take highway A6 to Lyon and then A43 to Chambery.
From Geneve take highway A41 to Chambrey.
From Chambery take highway A43 then A40 to Albertville.
After Albertville, get on RN90 to Bourg Saint Maurice.
Drive toward ARC 1950/ARC 2000, and the hotel is about 20 kilometres from Bourg Saint Maurice.
Please follow directions and park at the underground car park in ARC 1950.

Train directions

The train station Bourg Saint Maurice (www.sncf.fr) is about 20 kilometres from the hotel.


Take the direct TGV from Paris (4 hours and 10 minutes) and Lille to Bourg Saint Maurice.
You can take the direct EUROSTAR from Waterloo in London (8 hours and on Saturdays only).
Direct THALYS from Amsterdam (9 hours) and Brussels.

From the airport
