Located in a quiet street in the city centre (New town) but just 10 to 12 mins walk from the Charles Bridge, the old town and Wencelas square.

The New town has many tourist sites of its own and is filled with restaurants to satisfy every budget and taste. The apartment is located between and within 2 mins walk from both the river and Charles Square park (karlovo Namesti, ref. web site 'Mapy.cz' to view). Prague public transportation is inexpensive (€10/week), efficient and highly integrated. The Majority of the 30 city trams and the line B metro can be accessed within 2 minutes walk from the apartment and therefore you can be almost anywhere in Prague within 20 mins.

Prague abounds in nightlife and cultural activities. The Prague Spring Music Festival which takes place in May is world famous. The Prague Castle, Mala Strana, Old town and the magnificent architecture of this city make it one of the most complete cities to tour in Europe.

Prague Area

The local river has a prominade that runs for many km south of the city which can be used for walking or cycling. The moorings for the tourist boats which run between April and October are just a few minutes walk from the apartment.

There are many interesting walks such as from the old town up to the Castle or around Petrin park which on the other side of the river. The local park or a nearby Botel on the river can be used to relax and watch the world go by.

A €10 bus/tram/metro tourist ticket will cover all transport requirements in Prague for a week including from the airport and airport return. The ticket can be purchased in a kiosk (Metro/tram/bus) to the RHS of the arrivals gate.

The apartment consists of an entrance hall with a toilet, a large modern kitchen, a large living room and a large bedroom with a double bed and an on-suite bath/shower and wash hand basin. Parquet flooring and high ceilings throughout. A sofa bed in the living room can accomodate additional guests. The gas central heating is easily set and controlled.
