Gurunhuel is a rustic country village very central to all coastal points, it offers a Breton boules next to a 16 centuary church which can be visited ( keys available at the mairie) The surrounding area is well marked for country walks or cycling, the village offers a convienent store(bread and cake depot) and bar/café. A larger store Inter Marché which is also open on Sunday mornings is 6km away or a cycle ride!! There are numerous boulangeries within a few km. Coat an Hay is a large forest that is home to some deer, butterflies and numerous animals which borders the village and is often visited on horse back, by walkers and cyclists. The forest is divided by a river which is of used for trout fishing.
In 2011 we had the Tour de France come through our village!
Close by is medieval Guingamp, a town which offers numerous shops, restaurants, coffee bars and a large summer market on Friday mornings and a small one on Saturdays.
