This spacious & modern Designer style, luxury air-conditioned, with marble floors throughout a single storey villa, has 3 bedroom, 3 bath and is great for all ages, and suitable for wheelchairs (one doorway is 73 cms wide). Situated in a cul-de-sac (1 of 2 villas with its own private road). There is no passing traffic or pedestrians/passerbys, very quiet and relaxing.
You will only be 250m from the amazing paved promenade walk to Playa Blanca, right along the rocky Atlantic seas edge, which has lighthouse, Fuerteventura and Los Lobos views. Stop along the way and have a drink, or even a meal, taking in the views. The nearest small beach Calimera is only 15 mins walk.
Local supermarket with daily UK papers, a couple of bars, a great bakery and coffee shop, a Mediterraen restaurant and Chinese only 2 mins walk. 15 mins walk to 6 other restaurants and scuba diving facilities.
The spacious lounge with high cool vaulted ceiling and marble floors, has 3 top quality Italian soft cream leather sofas with cushions and a poufe. Throws are there if needed; New Widescreen LCD TV with SKY HD full family package & Sports HD satellite, DVD player with more than 200 up to date films, great for all the family, XBox & 4 games.
You may wish to use the breakfast bar here for coffee and delicious fresh muffins from the bakery. The double patio doors open out onto the huge sun area with pergola and electrically heated pool. 29 degrees is soooo great! and the pool is tested and treated & cleaned twice a week.
Internet - wifi with land line FREE ! (do not forget to bring your laptop)
All bedrooms have air-conditioning, DVD/TV player, and also have high cathedral ceilings allowing the cool air to circulate, wonderful cool marble floors throughout and Italian marble bathrooms. Attention has been paid to detail, just try the designers Fenn Wright Manson super thick fluffy towels. Or use the Molton Brown hand soap.
Egyptian cotton towelling dressing gowns are provided for use during your holiday and even NEW towelling slippers for each guest.
The master bedroom with air-conditioning/heating has a specialist, super-kingsize bed (6'6) with 100% cotton Ralph Lauren designer linen and choice of pillows. There is a spacious walkthrough changing room with plenty of solid teak wardrobe space & wooden hangers. A dressing table with 3-way mirror and stool nicely fits into the big master bedroom and Hair Dryer,TV & DVD.
En-suite bathroom includes bidet, shower and bath, & loo. There are patio doors that open onto the heated pool & sun terrace great for just stepping out for a morning dip! Pool towels are provided, saving on your luggage allowance.
A further 2 twin bedded rooms, with air-conditioning/heating, 100% cotton Ralph Lauren designer linen, TV & DVD, with lots of wardrobe space and plenty of hangers and 2 hairdryers, have their respective bathrooms/wc's opposite; all overlook the pool and sun terrace. The twin beds can be linked together with kingsize mattress comforter and kingsize (£20) please request at the time of booking, 100% cotton designer linen. All bedrooms have 100% cotton linen from designers like Ralph Lauren, thick Egyptian Fenn Wright Manson designers cotton towels, large bathsheets and to snuggle into, towelling bathrobes .(tumble dryer to make them dry & fluffy) for your use whilst at Carlara; and now your own cotton towelling slippers We even provide a choice of pillow!
Baby high chair & travel cot -no extra charge. Two Z-beds available when sleeping 8.
All rooms overlook the private, south west facing, 25 'x 15' (8x4 mtrs) electric Brand New thermostatic heated pool, up to 29 degrees if you wish (all year) with great sun terrace and large pergola shaded dining terrace, includes quality sun loungers, beach/pool towels and some inflatable pool toys. For ease the pool has two handle bars and roman steps, cleaned and tested twice a week. All surrounded by a 1.5 metre wall with a 1.5 metre trellis on top all surrounding a wonderful sub-tropical planted garden, with Birds of Paradise, Orelander, Catus and Bourganvillea, and is well maintained monthly.
Meals can take place the ‘Al fresco eating area’ , a spacious covered dining terrace with huge table that can seat 10 so inviting friends is no problem. Rustic seating with designer thick cushions, lead crystal glasses, silver ice bucket, great dinner ware, make dining a sheer pleasure. There is a huge brick built Canarian barbecue in the sub tropical planted garden. Or have supper or even dinner party on the New dining suite in the Atrium overlooking the pool. In Winter months our guests mostly dine in the Atrium with the dining table and chairs there.
Also provided for around the pool are texoline sun loungers with New thick 'tempor' type Mattresses, side tables. Extra towels for the pool are provided (saves on your baggage allowance !)
Exclusive to this type of property is a wonderful indoor glass roofed Courtyard - Atrium with tropical plants and dining suite ; this also overlooks the pool and terrace,
Washing machine, tumble dryer (no wet towels !) , airing rack, iron & ironing board are in the utility/solana. Even an electric cooler box for trips to the beach.
The fully fitted kitchen has every amenity, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, ceraminc hob & oven and great selection of dinner ware New, serving dishes, we even have a serving trolley! Acrylic glasses and plates for around the pool, ordinary glasses and cut crystal glasses for indoors; plus lots of quality extras like blender, wok, cafeteire, micro with grill, plus all the normal items.
Villa has a safe and security alarm system. 2 car park spaces and only 2 mins walk to the nearest bakery, restaurants, takeaway, pubs and small supermarket with UK newspapers.
We have really tried to provide a home from home and have listened to our guests. Our English managers who are just wonderful, live 5 mins away, provide a great welcome pack of bread, cheese, ham and marmalade, butter, water, wine, coffee, tea, orange juice, milk & bathroom tissues and they are available to help.

The Lanzarote Region
Lanzarote, perhaps the most unusual of the Canary Islands, lies approximately 95 Km off the west coast of Africa and 1100 Km south west of the Spanish peninsula. This position ensures year round high temperatures, more days of sunshine and fewer days of rain than the other islands. Summer temperatures can be in the 90's although these are always tempered by cooling breezes - ideal for sunbathing and sport during the day and comfortable in the evenings, perfect for relaxing over a leisurely meal or drink at one of the many bars and restaurants.
the island is only about 45Km long and around 18Km at its widest point, its famous for its dramatic lunar landscape of almost 300 volcanoes. Views of volcanic mountains, picon covered fields and rocky coastlines are broken up by a large number of beautiful golden sandy beaches and an amazing amount of well attended greenery and agriculture.
Playa Blanca / Faro Park area
The villa is situated 3 minutes walk from the sea front and only a 5 minutes drive from the centre of Playa Blanca. Faro Park has a well stocked supermarket, and plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants within a 1 minute walk. To the next area where more restaurants are would be a 15 mins walk, near Rubicon seafront. Playa Blanca is situated on the south coast of the island and rerally has the best of the weather and sunshine, particularly in the southwest corner where Faro Park is situated. It has been thoughtfully developed and has spectacular beaches, the famous Papagayo and Playa Flamingo are within easy reach of the villa. It has a beautiful pedestrianised shopping area as well as many seaside bars, cafes and excellent restaurants. The harbour where you can catch the ferry to Fuerteventura is a few minutes drive away, as is the beautiful new marina with cafes and lovely restaurants. A really splendid place to holiday
Playa Blanca Area
Excellent local restaurants and takeaway and small supermarket (with daily UK newspapers) and a couple of pubs and cafes. The bakery has just the most mouth watering cakes, bread, crossients etc, just 1 minute walk!
Breathtaking coastal promenade walk from the villa to Playa Blanca about a 40 mins leisurely walk; A lot of our guests walk and then catch a taxi back.
Only about 15 mins walk to the nearest beach Calimera or 2 mins drive. The coastal promenade is 250m from villa, 2/3 mins walk. The beaches of Lanzarote are to die for!!
Down the other side of the town at Playa Blanca, there is a brand new marina, Rubicon- where you will find amazing yachts, superb restaurants Italian, Seafood, Chinese, Steak House etc, and designer boutique shopping you name it, it is probably there ! Wednesday and Saturday is market day which which we would recommend.
Playa Blanca has a fantastic selection of bars and restaurants a most with sea views. - The pedestrianised high street has once again designer boutiques, clothes, shoes, jewerly, and of course cameras and electrical goods all are VAT free.
Lots of Irish bars are here and offer a great night out !!
The villa has good wheelchair access, single storey. Pitch & Putt Golf at Dorada Beach, 3 mins drive away. Proposed golf course to be built soon, will be 5 mins away !
Or even hire a car and go out of Playa Blanca and discover the Papagayo beaches, try Femmes for an early dinner, Golfo is great for lunch and a stroll. Graciaosa (via the ferry at Orzola is good for a day trip if feeling adventurous).
Mirador del Rio worth the diversion for stunning views and to Arrieta after for lunch and a swim... that should get you started. On an evening try Bodega at Uga for a stunning dinner!!

Fly direct to Lanzarote - Taxi available at the airpot - around €45 to the villa - or indeed hire a car to either collect at the airport or collect nearer the villa, or we can arrange for our managers to collect you at the airport €40

The pool has to steel handle bars to assist access - very important for some guests - not many villas install them

What can I say????? Absolutely fantastic holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at your villa and can honestly say we did not want to come home. It really is the first time that we have been away and could say that. The villa was superb. John and Jayne were really friendly and helpful.
We wanted to stay longer. The children just loved it as much as ourselves.
