These one bedrom bungalow apartments close to a beautiful pool, are ideal for your family; on the very edge of Caleta de Fuste, there are ample amenities to keep you happy, these include; a gym and jaccuzi close by, as well as two supermarkets, the Malibu Pool Bar, restaurants, and the Monte Castillo Centre itself.
If you want peace and quiet, but want to be close to the town centre, then this is ideal for you.

The Fuerteventura Region
Fuerteventura is the second largest of the Canary Islands and nearest to the African coast. Over 300 days of sunshine a year and average temperatures in the winter of over 20 degrees give a Carribean climate less than 4 hours away from most major UK airports.
Caleta de Fuste´s central location make it the ideal base for exploring the island, and the excellent bus service means that car hire is not essential (although we do advise it to visit the more remote attractions such as the shipwreck of the ss American Star). To the north of the island is the Dunes National Park, made up of fine white sand blown over from the Sahara desert. To the south the endless stretches of white sand beaches that are home to the annual wind-surfing championships.
Caleta de Fuste Area
Caleta de Fuste is a small town located 5 miles from Fuerteventuras main airport. Caleta is an ideal spot for family holidays, particularly those wanting to "custom design" their holiday experience.
Caleta de Fuste is recognized for its year round sunshine; also worth noting are its beautiful beaches. Caleta has several beaches, all of which are family friendly; breakwaters suround the shallows, making splashing about, a fun and safe activity.

As well as Caleta's beaches, some of its coastline is extremely rugged - ideal for fishing, snorkeling, and diving.
The Taxi service is second to none, both cheap and VERY reliable, they usually turn up within 2-3 minutes of phoning. Call 928 163 004, most controllers speak basic English, but please have a go at the Spanish language, they will really appreciate the effort.
As well as the beaches, Caleta de Fuste is full of water based activities; surfing, kite and wind-surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, jet-skiing, and many more water sports.
Chipmunks hide in the rocks, and are keen to be fed grapes, nuts, and cucumber. Take the kids along to the coast near the harbour, and at the three Elba hotels, and be a hero for the whole holiday. They're cute, and clean, and very very sweet.
Please don't drink the water! Its horrible, and will give you a nasty stomach ache. Cooking veg with it, is ok, but please don't drink it. Water is on sale everywhere, and is very cheap.
They're are many banks in the town, and you can get local currency from them at very reasonable rates, the ATMs charge a small fee, but with a very good exchange rate, which they will show you before the transaction is complete.
Internet Cafes are quite easy to find, the main one being opposite Castillo Mar, in the San Jorge Elba Hotel. Go and see Colin at Pronet, his cafe offers printing, scanning, photo printing, Internet, Skype with headphones, and lots more. All this for a maximum of €4 per hour, charged by the minute.
Grocery Shopping is pretty straight forward, and you will see many NETTO stores throughout Caleta de Fuste, but be warned, its pretty cheap, but nowhere near as cheap as the UK. For the best prices, head to the Atlantico Centre and the Spar.
