As you enter Casa Eden to your left there is a large fitted kitchen with a 5 ring Gas Hob,Electric Fan assisted oven, cooker hood,dishwasher, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle and filter coffee maker.Also in the kitchen is a large breakfast table.
On the opposite side of the hall is a large through lounge with two dining tables, Sat TV, Audio system, and a large wood burning fire.
In the hallway there is an additional fridge and a toilet with a hand basin.
On the first floor there are 4 double bedrooms three with large double beds and the other with 3 single beds.Also on this level are two shower rooms one of which is en suite.
On the mezzanine level there is a toilet with a hand basin.
On the second floor there are three double rooms one with a double bed, one with three single beds and the other with a 'very comfortable' sofa bed.Also on this floor there is an Audio Visual room with Sat TV and a DVD player.Additionally there are two shower rooms one of which is en suite.

The Tuscany Region

The area enjoys beautiful and dramatic weather with the hottest time being August.
For the beach there is Viareggio or South of Livorno with distances being about 75-80km,there are a number of Golf courses approximately 40 km from Casa Eden.
There are the usual Pisa and Florence to visit, but also worth trying are San Gimignano for its medieval towers and its hot chocolate,Pistoia for its market and Lucca for the exciting bike ride on top of the castle walls.
During the summer throughout Tuscany there are plenty of events, village fairs with markets,good quality street food, concerts etc, while during the Autumn months the main events are the grape harvest, the olive harvest and the truffle season which is focussed on in San Miniato.

Vinci Area

Close by is the house where Leonardo was born and you can stand at the window and see the little altered view that he would have seen when he was living there.Also in Vinci itself there are two museums dedicated to Leonardos life and works and every year from April to June Vinci celebrates Leonardo with exhibitions, events and lectures.
During the second half of July there is a village fair that closes with a beautiful display of fireworks.
At Lamporecchio (5km), you can sample 'Brigidini' a kind of savoury crisp with an aniseed flavour that originates from this town and at the same time try a hot chocolate made by the world famous Slitti company, which is produced close by.

Getting There

Casa Eden, which is part of Podere Zollaio, is a large 16th century farmhouse with a private pool and stunning views.Located 4km from Vinci village the birthplace of Leonardo, the property has easy access to all the main cities of art and places of ineterest.Casaa Eden is ideally suited for large groups of up to 16 people wishing to holiday together.
Casa Eden is within 50 minutes drive of both Pisa and Florence(Firenze) airports, which are serviced by Ryanair and British Airways.

Children under the age of 3 stay free of charge and we can provide a cot and high chair.
In summer the price of rental is inclusive of all mains services and use of swimming pool .
In winter the gas for the central heating is calculated separately dpending on consumption.
Linens and towels are provided with the exception of the beach towel for the pool.
