Located in a wooded residential area of Begur. Villa Hermosa is only a short distance from the centre of this historic medieval hilltop village. Nearby Aiguablava beach with it's soft sand and crystal clear water is deservedly regarded as one of the prettiest beaches on the Costa Brava.
Begur is a charming village full of restaurants and boutiques and an excellent base from which to explore the Costa Brava.
The top floor consists of a large dual aspect living room opening to a covered terrace on two sides. The terrace has a teak dining table with seating for 10 and a wrought iron spiral stairway to the pool area.There is a fully equipped kitchen and three double bedrooms one of which has it's own private terrace with garden. There are two full bathrooms on this floor.
On the lower level there are two additional bedrooms one with a double bed and one with bunks. These rooms are served by another full bathroom and lead through french doors to the pool area.
Outside there is a 7m x 3m private swimming pool and generous sun terraces.
The garden above the villa has stunning views and has a childrens play area with swings.
On the ground floor is a large double garage with electronic doors and a fully equiped laundry area. Each of the floors is served by stairs and an elevator.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia Region
The Costa Brava is being re-discovered by a new generation of discerning traveller. Now thankfully deserted by the package operators the tourism now is a mixture of well healed Catalans and families renting villas and luxury apartments. Catalunya has developed an international reputation for gastronomy and boasts the first, eleventh and twenty fifth best restaurant in the world as voted on by 700 restaurant critics. Food and wine prices still represent excellent value by international standards.
The medieval city of Girona is a wonderful diversion from the beaches and with Cadaques, Pals, Banyoles and the potteries of the Bisbal there is a multitude of places of interest to visit. Barcelona is only a little over an hour on the train.
Begur Area
Begur is the jewel in the Costa Brava's crown. The narrow streets of the medieval hilltop village are full of small boutiques, restaurants and cafes but never feels over commercialised. Within a few minutes drive are several wonderful coves and beaches including Aiguablava, Sa Riera, Sa Tuna, Tamariu and the wonderful long sandy beach at Pals (reminiscent of Brittas Bay in Wicklow, Ireland). There are several of Spains best golf courses within a 20 minute drive. Food and wine in the area is world reknowned. Three of the worlds best restaurants are within a 35 minute drive.

The main terrace around the pool has teak sun loungers and gets the sun all day. There are security gates on all the terraces to keep small children safe. Above the villa is a landscaped area with spectacular views and a childrens play area with swings.
On the ground floor is a large double garage with electronic doors and an elevator which makes the villa suitable for mobility impaired guests.

Villa Hermosa has been furnished and equiped to a very high standard. The master bedroom is ensuite and has sea views. A guest room can be either twin or double and opens through patio doors to its own private terrace with planting. The third bedroom on the main floor is a well appointed twin. All have spacious built in wardrobes. The large living and dining area opens out onto a terrace on two sides with seperate dining area and bbq. Downstairs are two additional bedrooms a double and a single with bunks. Both open out directly to the terrace. There is a seperate bathroom to serve these bedrooms.

Guest Book
We had a lovely time, the villa was spotless, the caretakers were the best- they helped us find the place when we were lost, the towns and beaches were full of good restaurants and beautiful beaches that we will never forget. It was the absolute icing on the cake for our trip to Portugal and Spain! Your villa came at the end of almost 3 weeks travelling and we loved every moment of it! We hope to go back one day.
