Brand new luxury one bedroom apartment, sleeping up to 4 people. Stylish and elegantly furnished - bedroom with king-size bed and wardrobes, living room with large sofa bed (with just one motion the sofa transforms into a bed complete with linen and pillows), fully equipped kitchen, dining table and bathroom with shower, bidet, toilet and sink. Open the French doors and enjoy the stunning, 180 degree panoramic lake view from the balcony extending from the lounge. There is also a shared outdoor swimming pool (open at the beginning of June) and surrounding terrace to enjoy plus a garage and parking space.

Lake Como Area

Varenna is one of the most picturesque towns on the lake, its steep winding alleys lined with charming homes, flowering balconies and lace-curtained windows. Just above it is the ancient castle where Theodolinda, Queen of the Lombards, is said to have died in the 7th century. Two famed villas to visit here are Villa Cipressi, with terraced gardens cascading right down to the shores, and Villa Monastero, a true showcase.

The town of Varenna, train station and ferry terminal are only two minutes down the hillside by car. From Varenna, you can explore each of the picturesque towns along the lake as well as skiing destinations such as Valtellina, St. Moritz, Livigno and Bormio which are north of Sondrio or alternatively, Chiavenna and Madesimo (directly north from the top of the lake).

Getting There

Fly to Bergamo or Milan with Ryanair or Aer Lingus from Dublin. Car hire is available on both airports. Varenna is about 1 hours drive from the airport. There is a train station in Varenna and in 50 minutes you can be in central Milan. Taxis are available in Varenna and scheduled waterbuses are to Como city and villages at the lake.

Note: There is a required final cleaning cost of €70 when staying for one week & €90 when staying for two weeks with all bed-linen & towels included, wich is to be paid on the site. If staying for two weeks or more – the bed-linen & towels will be refreshed after each week. All utility usage such as water, electricity & gas, are included in the rental price. For long-term rental, please contact owner for prices.

Non-refundable 15% booking deposit and the rest should be paid 6 weeks before arrival. A refundable security deposit is € 100.
