The Famagusta District Region

Cyprus enjoys sunny skies and low humidity almost year round. The Pernera area has long dry summers and mild winters. Summer is a time of high temperatures with cloudless skies, but the sea breeze creates a pleasant climate along the coast.

 

Pernera Area

Pernera is an idyllic peaceful location offering a relaxing haven with many charming tavernas, bars, restaurants and shops. Certainly enough for the family, friends and couples to do if you want to combine the beach and pool with a reasonably quiet and relaxing holiday.

Pernera beach has been awarded with the Blue Flag for its clean and safe waters. You will find all kinds of watersport facilities such as wind-surfing, water skiing, para sailing, canoe and paddle boats as well as speed boat rentals. The sandy coves around Pernera are perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving and safe for children due to the shallow waters.

If you are looking for something a little livelier than Pernera; then Protaras, with its vibrant nightlife and famous Fig Tree Bay, is 3km away. A thriving coastline resort with all manner of restaurants, bars, cafes, tourist shops, watersports, excursions and entertainment to keep you and your family busy. The popular and lively resort of Ayia Napa is 10km away.

Local activities diving, swimming, walking, sailing, cycling, fishing, horse riding, wind-surfing, water skiing, paragliding.

 

Getting There

Most UK airports fly to Cyprus. Larnaca airport is the closest to the villa (45km) and takes about 45mins to get there on good roads (you drive on the left - same as in the UK). A good source of flight prices can be found at:

Our garden furniture is very different to many villas on the Crystal Lagoon development as it is Italian designed wicker with comfortable cushions and chairs. A lovely looking and nice place to enjoy your days and evenings in the Cyprus sunshine.

Our sheds house a multitude of handy items for your stay including: pegs, clothes airer, Cool Box on Wheels, Beach Chairs, Beach Parasols, Fishing Nets, Buckets, Spades, Waddles, Arm Bands, Rubber Rings, Lylos, Floats and plenty of other Pool Toys and Balls.

Rental Details

Once we confirm your booking, we will send you a Guest Information Pack and Cyprus Tourist Guide crammed full of ideas for your holiday. This includes details of nearby attractions such as: Protaras Magic Dancing Light & Water Show; Ocean Aquarium Park Protaras; Protaras Water Park; Waterworld Waterpark Ayia Napa; Cruises; Fishing Trips; Go Karting; Golf Courses; Horse Riding; Hiking; Scuba Diving; Snorkelling; Biking. Tourist information about the main Archaeological Sites in Cyprus such as: Kition, Salamis and the Kourion Theatre is included. There is also Emergency information in the unfortunate event that you need to consult a Dentist or Doctor whilst away. It also gives details of the nearest hospital and Police/Fire/Ambulance services. The villa has a multitude of brochures and leaflets for you to go through with ideas for things to do.
