The Madeira Region
Madeira is very famous for its natural environment, where the most important feature its Laurissilva Forest, a relic of the Tertiary Age, Which has been classified by UNESCO as World Nature Heritage Site. The Island's mild climate and a water temperature that never goes below 17ºC mean that you can be on the go all the time. It's ideal for a winter sun break. ***** Canico village is very small but pretty. The main square is located very close to the church, supermarket and a small selection of restaurants. When walking past the church you will find a few more restaurants, bank and another supermarket.
Canico Area
House Margarida is located in the south coast of the island of Madeira, in the tourist zone of Caniço de Baixo, located between the city of Funchal and Santa Cruz's city. From here, you can enjoy a beautiful and resting view, on the limpid waters of the Atlantic Ocean. We have a great solar exhibition, during the whole year. Take advantage of the pleasant temperatures that you will find here. It is of referring that the air temperatures are on the average of 23ºC, being the minimum of 17ºC and the maxim of 28ºC. With relationship to the temperature of the water the average is of 19ºC, the minimum 16ºC and the maxim 24ºC.
