The master bedroom has a kingsize bed, fitted wardrobes and ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has twin beds and fitted wardrobes. Bedroom 3 has a single bed with the option of a pull out bed for a sixth person, it also has fitted wardrobes. The Lanzarote Region
Tias is famous for its wine, producing some very good quality stuff. Costa Teguise has an 18 hole golf course set among the volcanic hills. It is also a very good place to go wind surfing as the seas there are very rough and it is the windy part of the island. Also there is a great fun- filled waterpark there too. Puerto Del Carmen to me is the nightlife capital of Lanzarote, there are loads of clubs, bars and restaurants on about a mile and a half strip. There are lots of trips to go on such as : the national park (that's a good one), a quad bike safari, a booze cruise on a big boat, Teguise market, camel riding, wine tasting, a glass bottom boat trip, you can even take a trip to Fuerteventura with your car or as a foot passenger. It only cost 45euros for 1 car and 2 persons the last time i went. We found the best tour company to use is Last Minute Travel, the reps are English speaking, they really look after you especially if you have young children and they friendly too.
Playa Blanca Area
Playa Blanca is one of the quieter resorts on the island but there is still plenty to do if you are a night owl. In Punta Limones which is by the ferry port, is Legends Karaoke Bar, which is a small and friendly bar open till 2am 6 days a week. If you want to stay out later and have even more fun then go to Roof Tops, which is upstairs from Legends and stays open till 4am. There are a few bars which do live music now, we think the Irish Anvil Bar is the best as Gary plays his guitar there 5 nights a week. For all those sports fans there are many bars showing live matches. Popeye's is on the same level as Legends and has 20 screens and can show 4 matches at any one time. Also Mollys Bar at Dorada beach shows sky football and the rugby. Most restaurants have a see view and there are plenty to choose from. You can eat anything from Fish, Steak, Chinese, Spanish Traditional, Indian to ham, egg and chips. We recommend Larni's in the New Marina Rubicon for specialist meals, very nice.
Other Activities Bowling
Getting There
Fly to Arrecife with Aer Lingus, Airtours, Thomas Cook, Ryan Air.
There are lots of flights from the UK with Monarch, Easy Jet, Thomson, First Choice and Thomas Cook.
Car hire is available at the airport, we would recommend www.autoreisen.es who supply new cars to a very high standard at reasonable prices.
Taxis are also available at the airport, usually around 50 euros to the villa, which is a 20 minute journey.

Thank you Karen and Dave for a fantastic holiday. Everything we needed was provided including beach towels and the accommodation was spotless. Any questions we had were quickly answered by Liz the Villa Manager and she quickly pointed us in the right direction for supermarkets/butchers, sight seeing etc.
We had a wonderful stay with 2 children (1 x 6 year old and 1 x 2 year old), both were very happy. Karen and Dave had provided lots of games, CDs and DVDs for everyones use together with providing a football and pool table which the kids loved. The main attraction for our kids was the pool which was clean and warm and we couldn't get them out! Their swimming and confidence improved so much that week we couldn't believe our luck at how much enjoyment they would find.
There was a fabulous brick built bbq at the poolside which was a perfect addition and allowed us to enjoy many an evening meal.
When we wanted to venture out we visited the beaches at Papagayo...beautiful. El Golfo with The Green Lagoon was breathtaking and definitely worth a visit as was Timanfaya National Park with all the volcanoes.
Our favourite restaurant on the marina was Lani's...where the portions were huge, the food excellent and they made a huge fuss of the kids. Definitely worth going to.
All in all we can't wait to go again and will definitely be booking sometime in the future.
Thanks ever so much.

We went to villa ripley in late april my husband and i are in our late sixtys but we managed to walk up to the sea front nearly every day then from there we would rather walk to the harbour or go the other way to the marina. We found the villa so comfortable there was everything we wanted there and the beds were really comfortable. The villa was so clean and liz the neighbour was so helpfull the customer service was excellent we went to lanis snack bar for lunch several times, excellent food and very well priced. we booked two trips one to the north tour and the other one to oasis park in Feurteventura, we can really recomend them. My husband used to love going back to the villa late afternoon and go straight in the swimming pool it was always lovely and warm. You could not get bored in the villa as there were plenty of DVD's, books and some games, the television had plenty of english chanels to watch too. It had a really nice kitchen with everything you need, the owners have put a lot of thought into it as they even supply a high chair and push chair for the children
We will definately be going back again and we will recommend it to all our friends. Thank you to Karen and Dave for a wonderful holiday, we couldn't fault it.

We had a fantastic (if very hot !) 2 weeks at Villa Ripley. The villa is exactly as described with everything we needed for a family holiday. Playa Blanca is a lovely resort, with something for all ages. The DVD collection is amazing and kept our 3 girls (14, 12 and 12) happy during the hours we had to keep them out of the sun (lots of chick flicks !).
We visited three of the Papagayo beaches. They are stunning and all the beach gear at the villa was a godsend. Beware - the hike back up to the carpark in the midday August heat with all your gear is a killer ! Also be aware that on some of the beaches, clothing is optional and it does always seem to be middle aged men who stroll up and down the beach wearing nothing but a sunhat - our girls were torn between acute embarrassment and hysterical laughter.
Lani's snackbar is good for lunch. They also do fantastic rotisserie chickens to take away - lovely in the evening if you don't want to cook. Casa Roja in Marina Rubicon is lovely but pricey. La Taberna just next door to it does good cheap tapas.
Liz who looks after the villa and Dave, her husband, who looks after the pool are a blessing and also excellent if you need advice / recommendations on anything local.
Although a car is not strictly necessary, we were glad to have one. Doing the shopping for a family of 5 with no car would have been very difficult, as would visiting the beaches at Papagayo and other places. However it is easy to get taxis (we booked Antonio twice to go out in the evenings - ask Liz for his number) and they are not expensive.
All in all a wonderful villa and pool in lovely surroundings. Perfect location and beautifully kept and equipped to a high standard. We have already recommened Villa Ripley to friends.

We stayed at this lovely villa at the beginning of September 2010 for 1 week. The villa was beautifully furnished and very clean. On arrival there was a few bottles of cava and beers in the fridge as a welcome which was nice as we had arrived late (thanks Liz). This was the first time that we had stayed in a villa and we will certainly be staying here again, the pool was lovely and warm and well maintained by Dave who looks after it on a regular basis and we had many fab BBQs at the pool side, in fact we did not want to go out. When we did finally explore the surroundings, the beach was really nice and golden (which is unusual in the Canaries) approximately 15 minutes on foot or 3 euros in a taxi. We spent most of our time at the marina which is packed with restaurants. Tip: when going to the marina, take bread with you as there are loads of fish which love bread and we saw a Barracuda (a big one)! All in all, we had a lovely relaxing weeks break and we fully recommend this villa to anyone that wishes visit Lanzarote.
You wont be disapointed.

My family and I stayed at Villa Ripley during the Feb 08 half term. Our intructions from the owners to the villa was very precise and getting there from the airport in our car was no problem at all.Even with my wife directing!
When we walked through the door we were honestly amazed! The Villa was so beautiful and well equipped that I would describe it as better than home from home! The rooms were beautifully decorated and spotless.
My family consisted of two adults and three children and we where very comfortable. The owners provided playstation with games, cable tv, stereo/cd player, dvd with a superb dvd library with the latest films, books, info on the Islands..there was nothing missing..
This was my third trip to Lanzarote previously staying in Guime. Playa Blanca in my opinion has more class than anywhere else on the Island.
Even though we were out everyday, the children would pester us to go 'home' to enjoy the villa's pool and bath like temperature.(best pool ive been in and ive been in a few).
Honestly I dont know the owners! and im not one for giving praise or doing reviews, but credit where credits due Villa Ripley is luxury at an amazing price, couldnt fault it and the effort the owners have made makes you feel right at home.
If you are thinking of staying there you WILL love it and want to go back as we are next Feb!!!
Perfect Holiday and the best ever with the family
