The Costa del Sol (Inland) Region

Andalucia has a beautiful climate with long hours of sunshine and good temperatures with little chance of rain for spring, summer and autumn vistors. For winter visitors we have full central heating for although we still get lots of sunshine and blue skies, early mornings and evenings can be chilly.
Cortijo La Nava is in a perfect situation for visiting the numerous places of interest, nestled as we are in a central location between Malaga, Granada, Sevilla and Cordoba. Most guests visit some or even all of these lovely places as well as Antequera (our nearest large town, rich in historical buildings), the beautiful natural areas (such as El Torcal, El Chorro & the Montes de Malaga), the costal resorts such as Nerja, Torremollinos, Torre Del Mar & Marbella and for the little more adventurous - Ronda or Gibraltar.

 

Antequera Area

In addition to the many cities and towns in Andalucia, the smaller villages are well worth a visit, such as Archidona, Loja, Rute, Iznajar, Alhama De Granada and Priego De Cordoba. In Spain, every town and village has it's own Fiesta and Feria as well as religious prosessions, so there is a chance of witnessing one of these local delights. As well as sight-seeing there are a host of activities for the little more active, such as - walking, mountaineering, mountain biking, horse riding, off-road trail biking, snow boarding/skiing (seasonal), bird watching or even art lessons!

 

Getting There

Fly to Malaga or Granada airports, both of which are only 40 minutes drive to Cortijo La Nava. There are various car hire companies to choose from both in and near the airports.

The swimming pool is 9 metres by 4 metres and is surrounded by a large patio, furnished with sun loungers. Other patio areas have tables, chairs and umbrellas. There is a large barbeque and we have giant garden games (Connect 4 and Jenga) for the children.

 

Rental Details

The garden and pool is used by guests in the Farmhouse and Granary. Guests hiring the Farmhouse can have sole use of these facilities for a small additional charge. We are on hand to help with any queries or questions you may have but we never use the pool or garden when we have guests.
