Our 2 bed apartment is located in the Costa Galera Country Club and the facilities include bar and terrace restaurant, specialist Pro-Golf shop, fully equipped gymnasium and spectacular spa complete with swimming pool, Turkish bath, Sauna, aromatherapy showers, massaging water beds, jacuzzi, sun beds, massage rooms, relaxation and beauty treatments etc. Guests can book restaurants, tickets for events and excursions, car hire, golf lessons with the resident Pro Golf Instructor or the onsite tennis courts all from the reception desk at the country club.

The apartment provides ideal family accommodation and there are 6 outdoor pools, play area and yet only a five minute walk to the local estepona beach. There are also lots of easy family day trips available and the Selwo Safari park is a firm favourite.

The apartment is ground floor and fitted with a security alarm system and shutters. There is a secure basement car park with a reserved space and a large private store room. Cots and high chairs are available from reception.

The Costa Del Sol Region

Estepona is one of the most westerly towns of the Costa del Sol and is one of the most beautiful tourist towns. It is situated right on the coast, 78km from Malaga, between Marbella and Manilva. It has excellent facilities, from restaurants and bars to fantastic beaches. The area is laden with activities to keep the tourists busy and the area around is bursting with fascinating sites and places to see. There certainly is something for everyone here. Within Estepona you can find a Traditional old style, Andalusian pueblo. But you’ll also find a thoroughly modern tourist driven town. Here is a place that has retained all of its rustic charm whilst still providing a holiday haven.

Estepona is a popular holiday location as it is situated within a fifty minute drive from Malaga airport and 30 mins from Gibraltar couple this with the number of airlines operating on these routes makes it even more accessible. Both airports are served by the N340 & Motorway again cutting travel time. Car hire is recommended and can be booked in advance. Estepona is a 15 min drive from its Glitzy neigbours Marbella and Puerto Banus both known for designer shopping, bars, restaurants, lively nightlife and very impressive Yachts!

Esepona Beach - The nearest beach is within a 5 min walk from our apartment. Estepona has a wonderful quiet cove of Playa de Cristo which is ideal for Children because of its shallow safe waters and a long sandy beach called La Rada which boasts a Blue Flag. The beaches are clean and very well cared for & most have bars on them. In total there is 23km of sand.

There is plenty to do in Estepona. The town boasts many traditional tapas bars and excellent restaurants specialising in seafood along with a wide variety of others to appeal to all. Take a wander down the cobbled streets through the old part of the town at the centre of which you will find a quiet resting place known as Plaza del Reloj with its' 15th century clock tower (enquire about the organised tours every Thursday). Along the seafront runs a very pretty promenade lined with palm trees and some Chiriguitos(beach bars).Of course all the usual beach and water activities are available such as jet-skiing, para sailing, diving and pedalos. For the early risers the fish market at the harbour is interesting with a variety of local fish auctioned (starts at 6am!). The bullring on the outskirts of the town has 4 museums one of which has an interesting collection of bullfighting memorabilia.

You are spoiled for variety when it comes to day trips. Ronda, famous for its incredible gorge provides a fabulous day out. The little known town of Casares is a typical white wash Andalusian town set on a hillside. The village of Manilva has some Roman baths which are worth a visit. For the kids the Selwo Aventura Safari park with its tigers, elephants, lions, camel rides & archery is definitely worth a visit. If after all that you need a little time to unwind indulge yourself with one of the many beauty/relaxation treatments on offer at the Albayat spa located in the Costa Galera Country Club. Membership costs 35 euros per day or 85 euro per week. This allows unlimited use of the facilities of which there are so many. Well worth it!

Golf: There is access to the onsite three hole practise golf course where you can practise your swing, perfect your putting or take some lessons. The specialist golf shop in the country club stocks everything you need. For the more experienced golfer welcome to the Costa del Golf! The mild dry winters makes it ideal for golf throughout the year. The Estepona and Duquesa golf clubs are but a 5 min drive, as for the rest take your pick of over 60 in total. Valderrama which hosted the Ryder cup in 1997 and regarded by many as the number 1 golf course in mainland Europe is only 15 mins away. Others which are easily accessible include Los Flamingos, El Paraiso and Sontogrande. Most will need to see your handicap certificate.

Rental Details

BOOKING DEPOSIT: A booking deposit is required to secure your holiday rental dates. The dates required will be held for a maximum period of seven days from the date of provisional booking. Within these seven days we must receive your deposit amount to secure your dates. Please see payment instructions below:


A booking deposit of 25% of the total rental amount (non–refundable)

The balance of the total rental price is to be paid no later than 8 weeks prior to arrival dates.

A security deposit of £150 (refundable if no breakages/damage) is also to be paid with the balance of the rental price no later than 8 weeks prior to arrival date

NOTE: Bookings made less than 8 weeks prior to arrival date require full rental cost (and security deposit) to be made at the time of booking.

PAYMENT FACILITIES:

Payment can be made via the following methods;

1. On line by credit card or debit card.
2. International Bank Transfer
3. Cheque through the postal service

RENTAL PRICE INCLUDES:

All household utilities & services to the apartment including cleaning of the apartment before arrival & on departure. Towels & linen are included (Not beach towels). Spa membership has an additional cost (details available from reception at club house) but clubhouse facilities are available to all.

    Note: BOOKING CONFIRMATION:

    On receipt of your booking deposit a letter or email will be sent as confirmation/ receipt of payment.

    Payment of this deposit constitutes acceptance of all the booking conditions stated in this document.

    A request for the balance will be sent 10 weeks before your arrival dates.

    CANCELLATION CHARGES:

    Minimum of 8 weeks notice--- No charge
    4-8 weeks notice---------------- 50 % of rental price
    Under 4 weeks ------------------ No refund


    ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES:

    In general arrival & departure times are flexible, however if either of those days cross over with another tenant we will have to ensure adequate check-in & out time to allow for cleaning to be carried out.

    ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY:

    Directions to the apartment from the airport along with access to keys will be issued on receipt of full payment of the rental amount.

    BREAKAGE POLICY:

    Any breakages/damages to the property or its contents must be reported directly to the owners on 00353 86 205 9343.We will then arrange for the repair or replacement to be carried out. The incurred costs will be deducted from your security deposit. If your security deposit is not sufficient to cover the cost of repair or replacement we will bill you directly & forward copies of 3 estimates and /or purchase receipts.

    If breakages/damages are not reported directly to the owner the cleaning company who carry a full inventory of the apartment will notify us & replace any items at their own cost structure, which includes a commission. This cost will be passed on to the tenant via security deposit (if sufficient) or by direct bill.
