The Costa Del Sol Region

With more than 320 days of sunshine each year, the south of Spain and especially the Costa del Sol offers the best climate of Europe. From the large tourist areas to the small bays the whole coast has transparent waters, beaches with blue flags, modern installations and services, excellent facilities for culture and leisure activities.

 

Nerja Area

Nerja is approximately 45 mins drive from Malaga airport. It is a popular resort but has retained it's own unique identity. There are many bars and restaurants catering for all tastes. The Tuesday market and the Sunday "flea" market are recommended. A visit to the Caves of Nerja is a must, as is Ayo's restaurant on Burriana beach for arguably the best paella in Spain!! The Moorish mountainside village of Frigiliana is a short drive, by car or local bus. A trip to the shopping centre in Velez Malaga is also not to be missed, with the excellent Baviera golf course nearby. Visit the fabulous Caves of Nerja, about a mile from town.

 

Getting There

Fly to Malaga from Dublin with Ryanair or from London Luton, Gatwick, Manchester or Birmingham International with Monarch Airlines.
Easyjet also fly to Malaga or you can fly to Granada with Ryanair from Stansted

Taxis available from the airport - around 65 Euros to the apartment

This is a recently completed apartment building in a residential area. Currently every Tuesday a lively market is held in the town and a Sunday market also. There is no pool but the location is a few minutes stroll to Playa La Torrecilla and Playa El Chucho beaches (to the biggest pool in the world! - The fabulous Med!) Great restaurants and bars on all beaches.

Sierra Nevada ski resort is approx one and a half hours drive through the beautiful mountains of the Sierra Nevada. Granada and the Alhambra Palace are also within easy reach and ideal places to visit as are the fabulous Caves of Nerja, about a mile out of town in Maro. Nerja also boasts a beautiful church in the town centre by the Balcon de Europa, the heart of Nerja.

 

Rental Details

25% deposit required to secure booking, non-refundable. A £100/150 Euro refundable security deposit required with payment of rental balance. Full balance required eight weeks before booking commences. Full rental required for all late bookings taken less than eight weeks before required date. Minumum rental is 1 week.
Air conditioning optional extra - £20 per week.
Payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer. GBP or Euros
Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere in the apartment building, in the apartment, on the balcony or in the utility area.
Children under the age of 16 at the discretion of the owners.

This is a modern apartment, four years old in a quiet part of Nerja but within easy reach of the beaches and shops.
Although there is no central heating there are two mobile convector heaters and air con/heating units in the lounge and master bedroom. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and chest of drawers and bedside tables, with a hairdryer in each room. One double bed in the master bedroom, two single beds in the second bedroom. All beds have duvets if required. The kitchen is separate and is fully equipped and has a small utility area leading from it. The water is heated by an electric boiler in the utility area. There is an en-suite from the master bedroom with bath, over bath shower, toilet, bidet and wash basin. The shower room is situated ideally for the second bedroom and has toilet, shower and wash basin.
