Situated in the up market area of Molino Blanco this apartment is set in a small,tranquil, private urbanisation and yet is within walking distance of shops, bars, restaurants and the golden La Mata beaches.
The property itself consists of 2 bedrooms, kitchen, livingroom, utility and a sunroom to the front which can be used as extra living or sleeping space.
The property was recently refurbished to include a new fitted kitchen and a new bathroom, as well as new furniture in the living areas. There is also a large flat screen tv which has English satellite and can also be used as a radio.A dvd player is also included .
Bedroom one consists of a double bed, ample wardrobe space and its own air conditioning unit with remote control. Bedroom two consists of a bunk bed with an optional pull out bed, as well as a wardrobe and chest of drawers. The living area has a 3 seater bed setee ( converting to a double bed), two armchair rocking chairs, a flat screen tv and storage unit, as well as a remote controlled air con unit. The front sunroom contains a dining table and chairs and a sofa bed which can be made into two separate single beds. The outside patio area has a table , four chairs and a parasol.

Torrevieja has its own micro - climate situated on a coastal plain surrounded by hills and mountains. Warm Mediterranean sea and salt water lagoons contrive to give it a warmer, drier climate than towns and cities a few miles away. It boasts up to 325 days of sunshine per year with 19.3 degrees of an average temp on a par with the Canary Islands.

Torrevieja area Area

Torrevieja has many beaches, promenades, harbour, marina, funfair, markets and an all important water park. It has a large Carrefour hyper market and Habaneras Shopping Centre with many British stores. Nearby there is an Indoor Bowling / Recreational area and cinema which shows films in English.
Boat trips are available from the harbour with the nearby island of Tabarca proving a popular destination. Also popular are guided tours of a Spanish submarine moored in the harbour. Benidorm with all its attractions is just an hour's drive away. Here you will find many beaches, a castle, large water park , aquarium and the famous Terra Mittica theme park. Elche with its famous palm plantations and safari park is only 30 mins drive away.
More locally, the lovely Parc Naturel is only 5 minutes walk away and the famous La Mata boardwalk snakes along the beach from directly below our property all the way to La Mata town .

Getting There

Flights from all major airports to either Alicante (about 40 mins away) or Murcia ( about 30 mins away). Ryanair , Easyjet and Aerlingus are just a few of the cheap airlines flying to the region. Direct flights also from city of Derry Airport to Alicante commencing June 09. Car hire available at both airports , taxis also-50/60 euro to apt.
