Built in 1800's the cottage has been carefully and thoughtfully renovated and furnished to a high standard. Situated off the beaten track with many original features. Ideal romantic and cosy retreat for couples looking for the perfect getaway break or for walking and climbing enthusiasts. Situated in the peaceful hamlet of Nebo above the Nantlle Valleys enjoying spectacular and unforgettable views of the North Wales hills and magnificent mountains, rugged countryside, golden coastlines, the Isle of Anglesey and on clear days even the majestic Wicklow Mountains of Ireland can be seen on the horizon ....

The Gwynedd Snowdonia Region
The coastline of North Wales is mostly rural with a number of seaside towns lining the coast from Rhyl to Pwllheli. Scattered among them are medieval castles built by Edward I. Many of these castles are remarkably well preserved, none more so than the Caernarfon Castle where the investiture of Prince Charles took place. Dinas Dinlle (5mls) beach is an award wining beach with miles of sand and dunes. The Snowdonia National Park, founded in 1951, was the first to be designated in Wales with mighty Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), Wales highest mountain, at 3560ft (1085m), dominating northern Snowdonia and being the most climbed mountain in Britain. Bardsey Island (Ynys Enlli) lays just off the tip of the Lleyn Peninsula - a site of pilgrimage for Christians through the ages.
Dyffryn Nantlle Area
Caernarfon, Porthmadog, Criccieth & Pwllheli in the Lleyn Peninsula are all within easy reach of the hamlet of Nebo with a varied and interesting mix of activities and attractions on offer - from boat trips to interesting historical tours, from mines to beaches, Roman Forts and historical Castles, mountain walks to steam railways. The footpath to the Nantlle Ridge is just accross the road to the gated field where the cottage is located and there are numerous public footpaths in the hamlet of Nebo just waiting to be explored!

Set in approx 3acres of land property has ample parking space. Seating area provided and Al Fresco dining set for 2 to enjoy the uninterrupted and unforgettable panoramic views.
Rental Details
All linen, bath, hand and kitchen towels provided. Smoking allowed in the garden/outside of the cottage only
Refundable £50 breakages/damages/deep clean security deposit apply
Electricity is by coin operated meter. Usual comsumption = £6 to £12 per week - depending on season. Complementary starter pack of kindling, logs and coal provided. Additional fuel can be purchased at Plas Hafod or locally.
One Small Dog allowed - must be under strict control/kept on leash at all times while in the property, any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleared up without delay, owner must bring the dog’s bed or basket for sleeping in, dogs MUST NOT be left alone in the property at any time, lie on beds or furnishings, and hair must be well cleared up before departing.

Original inglenook fireplace with a log burning stove in cosy living area, 2 seater sofa with and one easy chair. Freeview flatscreen TV with intergrated DVD player. VCR and CD player. Dining table with seating for four persons. One double bedroom with a 2 door wardrobe and matching bed side cabinets and beautiful furnishings. Modern fitted small galley style fully equipped kitchen area, open plan to living area. Bathroom with shower, WC and sink. Electric heaters throughout.
