Winter lets available

The cottages sleep up to 7 people in 3 bedrooms. All rooms are fitted to an extremely high standard with even Jacuzzi bath in the main bathroom. There's also a sunroom with veranda on the first floor, offering splendid views on the Atlantic Ocean and the West Clare landscape.

The location near the coast offers plenty of possibilities for all kinds of activities - from fishing on the lake nearby to swimming in the Atlantic and golfing on nearby Doonbeg Golf Links Course.

The houses are close to the sea with rocky coastline and a sandy long bathing beach. A sweetwater fishing lake is adjacent to the sea and well known by bird watchers for the diversity of birds which can be seen here, especially in winter.

The Clare Region

West Clare has plenty to offer for everybody's taste. Though the sights of County Clare are all within easy reach, West Clare itself is still one of the last secrets on the Tourist Map of Ireland. It attracts especially those visitors who look for peace and relaxation in an scenic landscape of rolling hills and rocky coast line.

West Clare is a centre of traditional Irish Music and Dance and many pubs throughout the region have live music all year long. Traditional Music festivals attract music enthusiast from all over the world.

The famous Cliffs of Moher can be seen in the distance and are only a 30 min. drive away. West Clare's capital, the town of Kilrush, is 20 mins. away and has a fine marina and an adventure centre. Boats leave here for Scattery Island and dolphin watching in the Shannon Estuary.

The holiday resort of Kilkee is 15 mins. away. Scenic Loop Head Drive starts here and leads you along fantastic rock formations & natural bridges to Loop Head Lighthouse.

Doonbeg Area

There is a quiet sandy beach for bathing and swimming close to the houses and more sand beaches can be found all along the coastline in Doonbeg, Quilty, Spanish Point, Miltown Malbay and Kilkee. Many of them have been awarded with the European Blue Flag. The water of the Atlantic here is one of the cleanest in the world.

The area is rich in fishing lakes and rivers and Annageeragh River, which is near the house flows into Lake Donnell, just a few meters away. The coastline here is noted for its shore and deep sea fishing possibilities.

Doughmore Strand is renowned among surfers all over the world for its excellent conditions.

The many small and quiet country roads, as well as the long beaches are perfectly suited for walking and bicycling.
The area is also noted for the regular appearance of rare birds, dolphins & whales!
