Bright, modern and spacious, this brand new contemporary villa is finished and furnished to a high standard. Perfect for a relaxing break lounging by the private pool,the villa is located close to the beautiful Obidos lagoon . A multitude of white sandy beaches are nearby. For those looking for something more energetic, the villa is just 10 minutes from 2 of Portugal’s premier golfing destinations. It is also ideally located for activities such as surfing, cycling, sailing and horse riding. The beautiful walled medieval town of Obidos is also a must see for any visitor to the area.

The villa is thoughtfully designed with three comfortable bedrooms decorated in contemporary styles. The two upstairs rooms are both en suite with large balconies. The downstairs bedroom also has an adjacent bathroom. The living area is open plan and is furnished with comfortable dining room chairs plus a very large sofa . The property further benefits from satellite TV (including UK and European TV channels ) DVD player,42 inch Plasma TV, Weber BBQ , and comfortable sun loungers .

The Costa de Prata/Silver Coast Region

The Silver Coast area of Portugal enjoys a mild climate with all year round sunshine making it the perfect holiday destination for all seasons. It has beautiful scenery that includes beautiful white sandy beaches and green, tree lined hillsides. Nearby attractions include the beach towns of Nazare , Baleal, and Sao Martinho do Porto, the fishing village of Peniche ( departure point for visiting the beautiful island of Berlenga) , the Praia del Rey and Bom Sucesso Golf resorts, and the walled medieval town of Obidos. Fatima, Lisbon and Sintra are ideal day trips. The area is ideally suited to a number of activities such as golf, surfing, cycling, fishing and sailing. A new walking / cycling track has recently opened around the banks of the Obidos Lagoon.

Obidos Area

Obidos is the pride of the region, a fantastically preserved medieval walled town. Its castle, cobbled streets, beautiful churches and whitewashed houses covered in flowers are like something out of a picture book. It has many cultural events including an annual chocolate festival in February and a two week long medieval festival in July.

The Obidos Lagoon is a peaceful oasis that is perfect for an evening stroll. The recently completed track around the shore of the lagoon is excellent for both walkers and cyclists.

The Bom Sucesso area is one of Europe’s finest for golf including both the Bom Sucesso Golf Resort (opened in 2008) and the Praia del Rey course that is rated as one of Europe’s finest and that has recently hosted the Portuguese open. Both courses are within 10 minutes of the villa and discounts are available for those staying locally.

Getting There

Aer Lingus has direct flights from both Cork and Dublin to Lisbon Airport (Portela) .
Direct flights are also available from all of the major cities in the UK direct to Lisbon.
Aer Lingus also has direct flights from Cork and Dublin to Faro in the Algarve.Allow approx. 3 hours driving time from Faro to the property.
All of the major international and local car hire companies are located close to the arrivals area of Lisbon Airport.
