The resort and surrounding area

With an unique position at the heart of Tarentaise, facing Mont Blanc, La Plagne is made up of several linked high mountain resorts and villages, with altitudes ranging from 1,250 to 2,100 m. Aime la Plagne (2100 m.), the highest resort of la Plagne, offers you a panorama overlooking the whole of the Tarentaise valley, from one end of Paradiski to the other, and even beyond!

• An encounter with nature :
Discover the landscapes created by mountain agriculture.
Champagny-en-Vanoise: many small hamlets (La Couaz, La Chiserette, Le Bois, Friburge and Le Laisonnay) are dotted along the narrow road which leads to the huge natural area of the Vanoise national park

• Heritage and tradition :
St Martin’s Basilica and the Montmayeur Tower in Aime en Vallée
The Pierre Borrione museum
Longefoy (Plagne Montalbert) has “heritage footpaths” which link the resort to the village, and feature local history: the bread oven, the Baroque church, the chapel and watermill.
The paths to the Baroque lead through alpine pastures to the heart of the villages, on the regional roads in the Savoie.

All kinds of shops and facilities are available in Aime 2000, only 200 m from the residence:
mini-market, bakery, newsagents, sports shops etc. There are doctor’s surgeries in Plagne Centre, 1.5 km from the residence, accessible on foot by télémétro (sloping lift).

Getting There

BY CAR

From Paris: A43 and A430 motorways to Albertville (via Chambéry), then expressways to Moûtiers. Then take RN90 to Aime (23 km). At the Aime exit, take D220 towards La Plagne. Then head for Aime La Plagne, going through Plagne Centre. In Plagne-Centre, follow signs for the covered car park.
