The resort and surrounding area

Les Arcs offers you an upper-crust family and sporting ambience.
You’ll find more than 420 km of slopes, ramble paths, new winter sports and relaxation.
Special attention is given to children in this ‘Famille Plus Montagne’-labelled resort.

• An encounter with nature :
The 8-seat cable-car will whisk you to the top of the 3,226-m Aiguille Rouge peak opposite Mont Blanc, offering you a unique view of the French, Italian and Swiss Alps.
Marked winter ramble paths are packed and maintained on a regular basis at Arc Pierre- Blanche, Arc 1800.
The 17th-century Solliet chalet clings to the mountain on the greatest difference in altitude in Les Arcs, giving you a breathtaking view from the terrace opposite Mont Blanc overlooking the Haute Tarentaise Valley.

Bourg-Saint-Maurice and its Baroque churches. Mineral Museum
The Baroque churches and chapels of the Tarentaise.
The Apple Museum in Hauteville-Gondon, which features many varieties of the fruit and traces its history. The Little Museum in Bourg Saint Maurice: the richness of the wildlife and minerals in our mountains.

Close to the “Chantel 1” residence: ski equipment rental shop – SkiSet and restaurant that delivers fresh bread and pastries and delivery of meals in the apartments
In the resort centre, approximately 1.5 km from the residences: restaurants, bars, cafés, cinemas (2 at Arc 1800), bakery, supermarket, butcher, delicatessen, sports stores, banks with ATM’s, post offices, medical surgeries, pharmacy, etc.

Resort transport

- Bourg-St-Maurice/Les Arcs 1600: by the ‘Arc-en-Ciel’, funicular railway in 7 min. Admission separate or included in the price of the ski-lift tickets. Information: S.M.A. – Tel.: + 33 (0)4 79 04 24 00.
- Inter-resort shuttles (Arc ...1600, 1800, 1950, 2000) free and on a regular basis, from 7 a.m. to 7.35 p.m.
- Valley bottom shuttles, free for the Ecudets chair lift, via Séez and Bourg-Saint–Maurice to Landry via Hauteville-Gondon.
