This self-catering holiday home in Clifden provides a charming secluded modern bungalow, which has a wonderful sunroom overlooking Clifden Bay. Clifden Boat Club is close by. Connemara Golf Club and various pony riding centres are within easy drive. This self catering holiday home is within walking distance to Clifden Town along the coast road. Our Connemara cottage is situated on a high elevation with an attractive garden, ideal for watching the sun rise and set. This Clifden holiday home is very central and ideal for touring Connemara. Clifden is a great town packed with restaurants and shops and cafes and pubs and there is also a theatre and cinema.

This Connemara cottage has 4 double bedrooms, 3 ensuite showers and one ensuite bathroom/shower and one small single bedroom. Travel cot and high chair available.

The holiday home is situated 1km from Clifden town and it is a 20 minute walk along the scenic beach road, winner of the golden mile competition.

The Galway Region

The beautiful rugged area of Galway is an ideal area to spend a family holiday. Local attractions are fishing, lake and river and deep sea. Hill Walking and Connemara National Park. Golfing is just 6km at Ballyconneely Golf Links.

Bustling town of Clifden is always a hive of activity and restaurants and pubs are great.

The famous Sky Road has wonderful walks and drives. Monument Hill is the best place to go for a great view of Town and Mountains.

The Bog Road has an interesting Blanket Bog and is suitable for driving. Walking or cycling.

Alcock and Brown Site (the first transatlantic flight) and The Marconi Station (first radio messages to Nova Scotia)

Pony riding... Connemara ponies available at Cleggan 8km and Errislannan Manor 4km.

A Day trip to Inishbofin Island the nearest offshore island to Clifden is a great experience.
