Borgo degli Olivi (The "Hamlet of the Olives"), is one of two lovingly restored 19th century Umbrian farmhouses situated on six acres of olive groves with a magnificent pool which is available to let throughout the year.
• SLEEPS: The villa sleeps up to 12 people. It can be used as a single unit sleeping 10 adults (or 8 adults and 4 children) or as two separate apartments each sleeping 4-6 people. Each apartment has its own private garden and eating area.
• LOCATION: The villa is a five minute walk to the nearest village of Casalini with bar and shop and a five minute drive to the shores of the famous Lake Trasimeno.
Florence (1h30mins), Rome (2 hours), Siena (1 hour), Pisa, Perugia, Cortona (30 mins), Assisi (45 mins), Monteplulciano (30 mins), Pienza (45 mins) and many other attractions of Etruscan, Roman and Renaissance times are easily accessible. There are also a number of wonderful hilltop towns in the immediate vicinity including those of Panicale, Citta della Pieve, Castiglione del Lago and Paciano. Getting There
Conveniently located halfway between Rome and Florence, the villa is easily accessible to a number of international airports including those at Rome (2 hours drive), Pisa (2 1/2 hours), Florence (1 1/2 hours), Bologna (2 1/2 hours) and Perugia (30 mins). Chiusi train station (which is on the main Rome-Florence line) and the A1 motorway are a 20 minute drive.

The farmhouse is situated in six acres of olive groves and stunning gardens, including separate private gardens for each of the downstairs and upstairs apartments.
Each of the gardens includes comfortable outdoor dining areas as well as secluded spots to read and relax. Amenities include a hammock, an outdoor sofa and a private reading area.
The 18m swimming pool is shared with the apartments of the second farmhouse and enjoys stunning valley views. Sunbeds and umbrellas are provided. The pool is professionally maintained to the highest standards.

Staying at Borgo degli Olivi was the most relaxing place to spend a holiday and the scenery from the patio was fabulous.Many an hour were spent on the patio,for meals or to chat and drink the local wine.Travel daily,from this area was so easy and yet still we were able to return home to enjoy the ambiance of the Villa.We were fortune to be able to meet Don, the owner,before he returned to Ireland...a very pleasant and entertaining gentlemen.
On arrival at Villa Borgo del Olivi, the gates were open and welcoming to us; our home away from home for three weeks. The villa is warm and inviting with all the amenities. The grounds, the view, and the gardens are spectacular. A true paradise. Each day we looked forward to returning to the comforts of the villa after our adventurous travels in Italy. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the patio with the aromatic pleasures of lavender, rosemary, and oleander. A great place to relax and unwind. We enjoyed using the stone oven to BBQ our steaks, lamb legs and chicken.Mmmmmm...good!!
