Welcome to Abbey Road House, our beautifully designed newly built self catering home situated in Knightstown on the magnificent island of Valentia, on the Ring of Kerry. This house is ideal for groups (beach, restaurant and pubs within walking distance) families (new playground located 3 mins walk from house), the elderly and disabled (groundfloor bedrooms with ensuite and showers).
Located 5 mins walk from the Knightstown Pier and new Marina, where you can participate in the Valentia Island Sea Sports or simply enjoy a coffee or a pint in one of the local cafes or pubs. Within 10 minutes walk of the house is the sandy Glanleam beach and tropical Gardens. Nearby, Renards Point has a really excellent pub and restaurant serving locally caught seafood. Fresh fish is available to purchase daily at the pier, and it doesn't end there, golf, great fishing, children's water based summer camps, scuba diving, beautiful sea walks, spectacular hill walks, traditional Irish music, Irish set dancing, amazing archaeological sites, the list is just endless. Valentia is about 7 miles long and 3 miles wide, consists of 2 villages, an endless supply of breathtaking scenery and local attractions, and the most welcoming locals, always making time for a chat - this is real island life.
The island is accessible by landbridge from Portmagee all year and by car ferry from Renard's Point to Knights Town from April to September.

The Kerry Region
We are situated on the hub of the ring of Kerry.
The house is very central to golf courses eg. Dooks, Waterville, Killarney , Ballybunion and Tralee. A must see if you are in the area is the Skellig rocks, which are located 12kms off the pier. They are of such importance that they have been made a World Heritage Site. (http://www.skelligboats.com). A fishing trip is also a must & daily trips are available from the Pier in Knightstown. Hill walking is also very popular especially up Bray Head where you can experience some breath-taking scenery.

Fly into Shannon International Airport, Cork International Airport or Kerry Airport (Farranfore). Car hire available at all airports, drive through Killorglin, continue on the N70 into Caherciveen and follow signs for Valentia Island (well signposted).
