The climate here attracts tourists all year round, with low rainfall and mild winters, it's appealing to both internationals and Nationals.
Fuengirola is well comunicated to other cities in Andalucia due to the reliable and modern train service. This will enable you to take day trips to some of these cities which are all interesting in their own way.
Being an important tourist destination, it enjoys many forms of entertainment. There are too many to list here but just to name a few, Theme park, Safari Park, Dolphin Park, Sea life, Cable cars, Mini train, Waterpark and we could go on and on and on!!!

 

Fuengirola Area

Spanish people love to socialise and eat out and the amount of Feast days here give them the excuse to do so. The most important one in Fuengirola is in October. You'll see a week long full of activities. Fun fair, beauty contests, running of the bulls through the streets, singing, dancing and just about everything and anything that's fun.
At the end of April, beginning of May, Fuengirola celebrates it Tourism fair. Countries from all over the world are invited to exhibit their customs, gastronomy and handicrafts. This is a very lively colourful event with people singing and dancing in National costume, parading along the main street.
Being by the sea, watersports are very well catered for. At the port you have a chance to book fishing trips, dolphin watching, scuba diving, jet skiing etc.

 

Getting There

There are many low cost airlines operating between Malaga airport and major European cities. Ryanair, Aerlingus, Monarch, BMI Baby just to name a few. It pays off to book flights early as some real bargains can be found.
Car hire is available at the airport with major rental companies. In the town you'll also find a choice of smaller rental companies to choose from.
Malaga airport is just 15/20 minutes drive from the house. Taxi's are always available outside the terminal.
Trains run half hourly from the airport to Fuengirola. They're very economic and reliable.

This property is situated in west central Fuengirola. This part of town has been completely remodelled and therefore enjoys new wide pavements, street lighting, new roads and public gardens. We have a new park just beside the house, a god send for those with children. It has a 2 play areas for children of different ages, a skating area, exercise machines for adults, plenty of benches and an open air bar where you can sit to watch the children play. The castle is 5 minutes along the promenade and the centre of town just ten minutes walk in the other direction.
You'll find you're spoilt for choice when eating out. There are many restaurants along the front, the nearest being 50 metres away. International cuisine is well catered for. Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Italian and Spanish restaurants can all be found within a 5 minute walk.

 

Rental Details

The pool and gardens are very well maintained in this complex. The swimming pool is open almost ALL year, so a dip at practically any time of the year is possible. The pool is not heated. There's an area in the pool that's very shallow, designed for toddlers and non swimmers.
