The Puglia/Molise Region

Puglia is a wonderful area to consider. It offers at least one excellent archeological museum, a host of cathedrals dating back to the 10th century, Greek and Roman ruins, a gleaming necklace of lively fishing villages, one of Europe's largest forests, a chain of medieval hilltowns, and some of the very cleanest beaches and water in the Mediterranean.

 

Ceglie Messapica Area

The area of Ceglie Messapica is located between the Murge and the Upper Salento: its typical elements include trulli, farms, lamie (typical southern single room square dwellings), rupestrian churches, carsic caves, dolinas, specchie and paretoni (remains of city walls), dry-stone walls, olive groves, vineyards, maquis shrub, ancient oak trees, cattle pastures and arable land.

Numerous archaeological remains of the ancient Messapi civilization were found in Ceglie's area. It had four lines of walls, the inner one having a perimeter of 5 km. The external one had high fortifications known as specchie, which could be up to 20 m and 60 m in diameter.

By Plane from Bari Palese airport (www.seap-puglia.it) which is about 100 km away from the property.

By train
- Nearest railway station is Ostuni (www.trenitalia.it) which is about 22 km away from Trulli. Trains come from every major towns of Italy. Regional trains are very often.

By Car coming from North
Driving on the SS379 (E55) toward south (direction to Brindisi), exit to Ostuni-Villanova, then follow to Ostuni, then for Ceglie Messapica (SP28). Before to get in Ceglie Messapica follow directions to Martina Franca (SP3BIS/SS581) and then stop at the pick-up point.

By Car coming from South
Driving on the SS379 (E55) toward north (direction to Bari)
exit to Ostuni-Villanova, then follow to Ostuni, then for Ceglie Messapica (SP28). Before to get in Ceglie Messapica follow directions to Martina Franca (SP3BIS/SS581) and then stop at the pick-up point.

Rental Details

Balance is due cash at the beginning of holiday after the check-in with the manager/owner, if you are not able to pay cash please pay by bank transfer the total amount before your arrival (cheques and travellers cheque are not allowed).

Due security law reason we will check-in only the guests who are in our booking-form and agreement.

Security deposit (to be refunded at the end of the stay) EUR 250.
Please be sure to leave the house in a good conditions before to leave otherwise we must apply a supplement.

Please inform us about pets/animals, as they should be accepted with a supplement to pay.
Finally cleaning are mandatory EUR 100
Intermediate cleaning mandatory for stay more than one week.

Arrival time is mandatory in the afternoon between 16 and 21 (except different conditions).

Please advise us about your departure time (please not later than 10am).

Bed linen and bath towels are normally NOT included. You should rent them from EUR 10 per person.
Pots and tableware's are already in each accommodations.
Electricity is billed by use EUR 0,30 KW/h
Eating (if used) is billed separately. Normally is EUR 100 per week.
