Pine Sun Park can be found in a splendid location just 400 metres from the superb Falesia beach, one of the Algarve’s longest and finest beaches, flanked by sandstone cliffs and pine filled countryside. The beach stretches all the way to Vilamoura. Opposite the apartments the” Praça de Falesia” (Falesia Square) has a choice of popular restaurants, family bars, shops and a supermarket. The nearby village of Açoteias, (15 minute walk) offers an excellent choice of local and international restaurants, including several specialising in fish and seafood. At the Sheraton Pine Cliffs Country Club there is a picturesque nine hole golf course too.The lively resort of Albufeira is 6 kms away, and a 15 minute drive will take you to Vilamoura, one of Portugal’s best known resorts, with its wonderfully colourful Marina, boasting chic boutiques, fine restaurants, bars and cafés on the waterfront. There are also five outstanding golf courses in Vilamoura.

The fully air conditioned apartment consists of a spacious, airy living room that opens onto a large wrap-around balcony with built in barbecue and fabulous panoramic views over the pine filled countryside towards the hills beyond the inland market town of Loulé as well as sea views of the local Falesia Beach. For serious relaxation there are loungers on the balcony as well as a dining table and chairs for eating al fresco! The living room is stylishly designed, with a comfy sofa and arm chairs, a flat screen TV with free view channels, DVD and a four person dining suite. There is a fully fitted, eat-in kitchen, a bathroom and a shower room and two comfortable bedrooms both with twin beds. One accesses the wrap-around balcony the other has a small private balcony.

Outside, the beautifully landscaped gardens feature 2 swimming pool and 2 children’s pool, set amidst the pine trees. There is also a children’s play area, and a pitch and putt golf area. The garden and pool areas have ample, complimentary sun beds offering sunshine or welcome shade! Tennis courts are available for hire beside these family friendly, Pine Sun Park apartments.

The Algarve Region

Portugal’s southernmost region known as the Algarve has established itself as a firm favourite holiday destination for people from all over Europe as well as the rest of the world. This is due mainly to its almost tropical climate boasting over 3000 hours of annual sunshine. With its stunning long sandy beaches, majestic cliff facings, secret coves and caves contrasting with the inland of mountains, almond blossom covered hills and quaint hidden towns the Algarve has something to offer for everyone.

There are many major attractions for all the family to enjoy including Zoo Marine (where you can swim with the dolphins), horse riding on the beach and some brilliant fun filled water parks all within a half hour drive of the house - Aqualand and Slide & Splash being the most popular. The parks all provide buses that will transfer you to and from the Parks.

Locally there is golfing, tennis, horse riding and a sports facility. If you want to get away from the coast for the day then a drive to Monchique and Foia (the highest point of the Algarve) is highly recommended. On the way you could visit the castle in Silves and stop for lunch of chicken Piri-Piri in the small mountain town of Monchique. It will take you less than an hour to get there.

Two large shopping centres are 'Algarve Shopping' in Guia and 'The Forum' in Faro just 20-30 minutes by car. The Algarve Shopping is a large mall which is approx. 15 minutes drive away. Here you will find a variety of shops, a big supermarket, a bowling alley, a multi-screen cinema (most films are in English with Portuguese sub titles) and a food hall.

Alternative ways of exploring the Algarve are by joining one of the many jeeps that head out each day (high season) to explore the unspoilt Algarve. This is a great day out for the family and will pick up and drop off in the area.

As Falesia Beach is ideally situated between Vilamoura and Albufeira there are plenty of great boat trips leaving from both Albufeira and Vilamoura marinas every day. You can choose from a full or a half day and this can often include a trip into the caves and grottoes of the beautiful Algarvian coast line. If you fancy a drive into Spain then the border is only a 50 minute drive and Seville approx two hours depending on traffic.

As the Algarve spans a large area with wonderful sights and attractions, car hire is highly recommended to explore, but not essential for this villa as there are a number of good restaurants and bars within walking distance and the beach is a 5-6 minute walk away. Taxis are reasonably priced. Transfers can also be arranged for you if requested.

Low cost flights available from most of the regional airports to Faro as well as scheduled flights from the main airports.

Transfer time from airport approx. 35 minutes by car.

Fly to Lisbon Airport and drive to Algarve - transfer time approx. 2.5 hours.

We can arrange Car Hire from Faro Airport. Directions to the Apartment will be provided on confirmation of booking, the route is well sign posted. (Car hire is not essential for this property).

Rental Details

Prices shown are for the property per week in Euros. We can accept payments by cheque or bank transfer in GBP or Euros. Please request a sterling price.

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the reservation, with the balance paid 6 weeks before your date of arrival.

A refundable damage deposit of €200 or £150 required with the final balance and this will be refunded a week within your date of departure.
The property is maintained by a property manager who will meet you when you arrive and ensures all your needs are catered for.

Car hire and Airports Transfers can be arranged.
Check in time is 3pm and check out 11am but this is flexible and will be advised accordingly.

Sofa beds are available for 5th & 6th person.

Welcome packs can also be provided upon request.

Bedlinen and towels are provided on arrival for the relevant occupants.

A Mid Stay cleaning service with a towel and linen change is provided for all bookings of 10 -14 nights.
Extra Cleaning and linen can be provided (at a cost) Please request at booking stage.

Guest Book

We have had a brillant stay here in the Pine Sun Park Apartments. The descriptions did not do them justice! They are much bigger then we expected and were so clean! We spent mots of our days down on the beach as it was so near and in the evening took advantage of the local Restaurants as the food was excellent. We did not hire a car but took advantange of the bus service into Albufeira and one evening we took a taxi in. Every morning we walked the beach which was beautiful ! We are sorry we did not book two weeks but we will be back !
