The Trullo Romantico is situated in the city centre of Alberobello (according to the experts, it's one of the most typical and well preserved in Puglia), few meters far from "Aia Piccola", but located in a reserved and quiet spot.
The Trullo Romantico was completely restored in typical tasteful Apulian style, respecting the traditional style and conforming the interiors to the modern needs. In a characteristic garden there are seats and table garden.
The house consists of a trullo with living room and bedroom and of a recent part including the bathroom and the kitchen. The bedroom is situated on the mezzanine floor in the conical roof of the trullo. Te sofa bed is situated in the living room.
From the kitchen, access to terrace and private garden with its olive tree and seats and table garden.

The mild climate marked this place an ideal holiday spot also during the low season.

The Puglia/Molise Region

Puglia is a wonderful area to consider. It offers at least one excellent archeological museum, a host of cathedrals dating back to the 10th century, Greek and Roman ruins, a gleaming necklace of lively fishing villages, one of Europe's largest forests, a chain of medieval hilltowns, and some of the very cleanest beaches and water in the Mediterranean.

Alberobello Area

Alberobello literally means 'beautiful tree' and this is where many of the distinctive 'trulli': Whitewashed cones made of stones, at the top there is a decoration that has some rebellious or magical meaning. The famous white beehive shaped houses of Puglia have come to symbolise the region. In Alberobello there are over a thousand of them.
Their shape is, in part, due to the economic conditions: at the time it was forbidden to build without the permission of the king Ferdinand I of Aragon, he declared that peasants were not allowed to build permanent homes. Since the stones had no cement, in theory they could be taken apart and moved.

What to see
- The historical center with the especially typical quarters called "Aia Piccola" and “Monti”, wholly composed of "trulli" united to groups and lined up along precipitous and circuitous lanes that climb the hill.
- Sant'Antonio church, built in 1926 in the form of a trullo.
- The Trullo sovrano, the only one with two floors, built in the 18th century locates in a small square behind the Mother Church.

Rental Details

Balance is due cash at the beginning of holiday after the check-in with the manager/owner, if you are not able to pay cash, you should pay the total amount by bank transfer before your arrival (cheques and travellers cheque are not allowed).
Due to security and legal reasons law we will check-in only guests who have compiled our booking-form and agreement.
Security deposit (to be refunded at the end of the stay) EUR 250.
Please be sure to leave the house in good condition.
No pets.
Final cleaning mandatory EUR 60.
Intermediate cleaning mandatory for stay more than one week.
Arrival time is mandatory in the afternoon between 4pm and 8pm (unless otherwise agreed). At arrival later than 8pm an extra charge will be applied.
Please advise us of your departure time at least 24 hours before. The check-out must be taken not later than 10 am.
