The holiday home is perfectly situated for the self-catering tourist. The nearest shopping centre can be reached in 10 minutes by foot, 2 minutes by car. An excellent lunch is available "across the road" in a local pub while a carvery lunch is served in a nearby 4 star hotel, 4 minutes walk away. The city centre can be reached in 15 minutes by foot. There is a local bus service and a fleet of 200 taxis. The holiday home is directly connected to the M9 by a ring road and adjoining slip roads. The ring road also provides easy access to other parts of the city.

While the jewel in the crown of Kilkenny is undoubtedly the Marble City itself, visitors to the area are fortunate also to have a wealth of attractions within easy reach.
