Ondamoura is a unique arrangement of one and two bedroom Apartments located amidst landscaped gardens within its own secure grounds, with swimming pool and children’s pool. The complex is situated in a cul de sac with car parking in a quiet Residential neighbourhood. Vilamoura’s colourful marina is within walking distance (500mts), and the Blue Flag Falésia beach is 900mts away, along with at least six superb golf courses, making this one of Europe’s leading golf destinations
Ondamoura is a great choice for a family holiday or a short golf break at any time of the year. Vilamoura’s vibrant marina is one of the Algarve’s best loved spots for an evening spent strolling past chic boutiques and luxury yachts, or enjoying a cool drink or open-air dining in one of many splendid bars and restaurants offering a superb variety of Portuguese and international cuisine, including locally caught fish and shellfish. There is also Vilamoura’s famous casino for outstanding shows and of course the chance to try your luck in the gaming rooms.
This is a delightful spacious two-bedroom, ground floor apartment blending contemporary quality with Portuguese design styles. The spacious and sun-filled lounge-dining room opens onto a large terrace and privately gated garden area, ideal for al-fresco dining and overlooking the interior of the complex. The pool with its large sunbathing area is located at the end of the complex and is reached by a tree lined path. A fully fitted kitchen with all appliances is located to the front of the apartment. There are two tastefully decorated air-conditioned bedrooms, with a family bathroom. The master bedroom with ensuite shower room opens out onto the terrace and garden area. The lounge is a mixture of whites and blues has a TV with DVD. There is air conditioning/heating in all rooms.

The Algarve Region
The Algarve is one of the world's most attractive holiday destinations. It is not over-developed and the coastline with its miles of golden beaches, dunes and coves enclosed by rocks and cliffs remains completely unspoilt. A few miles inland and life is much as it has been for centuries, with orchards, farmland and green meadows. Towards the hills there are terraces dotted with almond and fig plantations. The mediterranean plants and trees put on a magnificent show throughout the year and there are plenty of nature parks and sanctuaries along the whole of the Algarve that attract many animals and birds.
The Moors left a considerable legacy which can still be seen today in the medinas, fortresses and mosques they left behind as well as being reflected in the traditional Algarvian architecture and the way of life of the people.
The Algarve region is blessed with a wonderful climate, ideal for swimming, sunbathing and water sports in summer, and mild enough in spring, autumn and winter for tennis, golf, clifftop or countryside walking, exploring and sightseeing.
Places of interest include the region's capital Faro and its old town, Loule and its market situated in a recently renovated Moorish building, Silves and its red fortress, Caldas de Monchique for its thermal waters, Portimao and its old town and port, Lagos for its vitality and historical interest and Cabo de S. Vicente with its imposing light-house.
Vilamoura Area
Vilamoura is the name given to an area rather than to any actual town, developed into one of the largest single tourist complex in Europe and covers some 2.000 hectares of land (5000 acres!!). The land is variable in its vegetation, some parts covered in pine forests whilst others open recovered marshland. Vilamoura is a special place, a unique leisure & recreation resort community where the pace of life is so easy it feels like summer all year round. Designed from the start to be self-sufficient, Vilamoura is ideally located, features a wide choice of prime accommodation, offers the commercial structure for day-to-day needs & is bursting with sporting and leisure facilities for the whole family. It is a place for rest & relaxation but also for pursuing active pastimes and sports; a friendly and safe residential haven, but also a vibrant and exciting night-life centre.
Vilamoura is a delight for a gourmet. More than an hundred different options can be found around the Marina to cater for the most exigent of taste. The variety is so wide that is difficult to choose from the traditional fish, seafood and regional gastronomy with a fine Portuguese flavour to the exquisite of the “nouvelle cuisine”.
For those who enjoy shopping this is an ideal place. The colourful shops windows are an invitation difficult to resist. Choose from well known international trade marks to the more regional and rustic shops.
Vilamoura is fronted by three kilometres of golden sands. The choice is wide, from quiet, secluded beaches to those frequented by the personalities, artists and sportsmen who spend the summer in the resort. Unrivalled beauty and Blue Flag water quality, perfect for walks, windsurfing, water-skiing, jet-skiing and paragliding, or just relax pedalling a pedlo, fishing or enjoying a drink in one of the many restaurants and bars along the beachfront.
Vilamoura has 5 of the best courses on the Algarve, the newest being Victoria which held the Golf World Cup in October 2005. Prices are reasonable and well worth trying even if you have never played before and are only 3 minutes drive away. Vilamoura has five championship standard 18-hole golf courses: The Old Course; The Pinhal Course; The Laguna; The New Victoria and The Millennium Course. Interspersed between these are beautiful, individual villas of all kinds and sizes.
Getting There
We are flexible with arrival days as a lot of the low cost airlines fly mid week. Check in time is 3pm and check out 11am but again this is also flexible and will be advised accordingly.

Outdoor area: The lounge opens out onto a large terrace area leading into a private garden area perfect for sunbathing, dining al fresco and for the children to enjoy playing in! There is a gate at the end of the garden and it leads to a tree lined path to the pool area whcoh is located at the end of the complex. There is a communal swimming pool along with a children’s swimming pool and shower area, with surrounding areas for sunbathing. The front of the complex had landscaped gardens which are enclosed, adding to the privacy and peacefulness of this complex.

Cot and highchair are available on request and there is a weekly charge of €10 for a cot and €15 for a highchair.

Guests are asked to bring their own beach towels please.
