This is an ideal family location ,is very safe and friendly. It has an abundance of restaurants and cafes with very reasonable rates. A car is not necessary and a local train station is closeby for those wishing to visit Faro or Spain. There is numerous attactions for all ages.

Getting There
Fly to Faro airport and take taxi hired car or bus towards spain along the Algarve.After 15/20 minutes get off at sign Tavira follow the road for 2K to Tavira and take 3 exit off roundabout for San Antanio/Spain after 3K you come to the Turn for Cabanas follow the road stright down to the beach and turn left passt Pedros Restraunt and take immeadiate left (Masco de Gama) the sea is on your right.The aptment complex is 200 yards along this road on your right.
It is also possible to Fly to Seville Airport and drive down the 2hrs on the motorway,I have done this and it can be cheaper than Faro and save considerably when a family is travelling.
