The Algarve Region

Albuferia is in the heart of the Algarve and has over twenty golden sandy beaches, two of which are within easy walking distance of the apartment. The famous Fisherman's Beach is only a short journey across town on the Citybus or Tourist Train. Both the new marina at Albuferia and the famous Vilamoura marina are worthy of a visit and there are plenty of boat trips and water activities to pursue including jet skiing and dolphin watching. The Algarve is Europe's favourite golfing destination with famous courses that include Sheraton Pine Cliffs, Salgados,Vila Sol, Pinhal, Quinta De Lago, Vale De Lobo and Millenium and Belaiai Par 3. All are from between 10 and 30 minutes drive from the apartment.

Famous for its miles of beaches, rugged coastline, sandstone cliffs championship golf courses and all year round sunshine the Algarve is a number one holiday destination for all age groups. Corcovada is in an ideal location to access all of this and is close to the famous 'Strip' and a short distance from the historic Old Town Albuferia.

 

Albufeira Area

A variety of wonderful water parks to include Zoomarine, Aquashow, Aqualand or Slide and Splash for an enjoyable day out
Algarve shopping is a short bus or taxi journey away and well worth a visit
A day trip to Lisbon, Fatima or Seville just about two hours on the motorway or venture to Gibralter for a memorable day trip
International Racing Circuit 28 miles to the west at Portimao
The 'Strip', busy by day and vibrant when the sun goes down
Albuferiua Old Town historic, relaxing and romantic by day and a hive of activity after dark
