The kitchen is well fitted with Neff appliances and a Gas hob. The utility comes with a washing machine and dryer with door access to the garden. This holiday home in Dunmore East is suitable for family self catering, children and the elderly. The house was built in 2007 and is finished to a very high standard. It is warm, bright, friendly and relaxing.

The Waterford Region

Waterford City has plenty to offer, from a range of festivals and events, theatre and film, pre historic and historic sites, Reginald's Tower, Edmund Rice Heritage Centre.

In June 2011 the Tall Ships Race will take place in Waterford from 30th June to 3rd July

The historic city of Kilkenny is only 45 mins drive away and well worth a visit. Other towns near Dunmore East include Dungarvan, Ardmore, Lismore, Tramore and New Ross.

Dunmore East Area

Dunmore is a popular tourist and fishing village in situated in the south-east of Co. Waterford, only 16km from Waterford City.

There are many activities on offer to tourists and visitors. These include angling, golf, walks, sailing, surfing or just relaxing on the beach

There is a fine selection of restaurants in and around Dunmore East. These include everything from the finest seafood to great bar-food and pizzas and tapas. There are also several coffee shops hwere you can relax after a long day on the beach!

In front of The Haven Hotel, in the centre of the village, ther is a beautiful park which overlooks the bay. Here there is a well equiped playground for the younger ones.

Beaches - There are several beaches in and around the village.

There are spectacular Sea Cliffs along the Dunmore Coast, with a beautiful cliff walk going from Dunmore to Portally Cove, 3km away.

Across the bay, only a short ferry ride away is the Hook Head Light House, the oldest operational Light House in the world.

Duncannon, Co. Wexford is a little seaside town on the way to Hook Head Lighthouse and is steeped in history where you can visit the historic Duncannon Fort.

Tramore, a Seaside Town, is only 30 minutes away along the coastal road from Dunmore. It has a lot to offer from Splashworld for the kids to lots of local history, there is also an amusement park.

Drive along the coast to Passage East, take the Ferry across and visit Dunbrody House for Afternoon Tea or indeed for a cookery demonstration or an evening meal or a treat for yourself in their luxury spa. Just remember to book early as last Ferry is at 10.00 p.m.

Visit Cheek Point and eat in the renowned McAlpin's Pub and Restaurant, famous for it's seafood.

Visit Faithlegg House for a game of Golf, fine dining and also spa treatments.
