Our Villa is located in a highly sought after location in Calpe. There is a bus stop approximately 200 mtrs from the property with buses running every half hour to beach, town and train station. The nearest beach is Levante Beach and is literally 3 minutes by car or approximately a 15 minute stroll. This award winning beach is geared for family holidays with an array of water sports, pedalos, jet skis. There is also an excellent selection of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. Nearer to the town is another award winning stunning beach packed with amenities. Through the summer months of July and August there are craft markets, and family events such as free outdoor films on the beach. The town of Calpe itself is a very friendly family orientated town with a delightful old quarter, cobbled streets, museums and a large selection of restaurants.
Calpe is a fantastic base from which to explore the Costa Blanca. We are approximately 35 minutes drive from Benidorm with all its night life, Terra Mitica, Mundo Mar and several Golf Courses are in the area. There is a water adventure centre approximately 10 minutes drive from La Vallessa. There are two tourist information centres in Calpe to advise on places of interest to visit.

The Costa Blanca/Valencia Region
Costa Blanca enjoys an excellent climate and is recognised by the W.H.O. as being benificial for those with respitory problems and arthritis.
Places of interest: Guadelest - An historic old hill town. San Alger Falls - stunning waterfalls. Benidorm - night life and shows. Villa Joyiosa - Worlds oldest chocolate factory. Valencia - in my opinion one of the most stunning cities I have ever seen - be sure to take the two bus tours of the city and the City of Arts in Valencia with its underground water world and dolphin show not to be missed.
Calpe Area
There are a number of festivals in Calpe and the surrounding towns,The main one being the Moors and Christians,this involves an amazing parade through through the town of groups dressed in dress from the middle ages and fantastic displays.In october calpe has an Oktoberfest festival based on the german festival with a dedicated ares just on the edge of town for the festivities.

Fly to Alicante or Valencia with Ryanair or Aerlingus from Dublin.

The villa has patio table, chairs, sun loungers and sun umbrellas. Approximatey two minutes walk from the villa is a park with open air bbqs, swings and play area for children. There is also another small park, Circuit de Salut approximately the same distance away. There is a large selection of well known supermarkets within 5 minutes eg Consum, Mercadona, Lydl and Aldi.
Rental Details
The swimming pool is open between 8am and 11.00pm. There is no life guard. There is no glass allowed in the swimming area. There is a small number of sun loungers and umbrellas provided and the pool area. The pool is generally very quiet as 8 of the 16 houes have their own pools. The pool is approx. 50 ft long and 15ft wide and has a small paddling area for children.
