Rathbeggan Loft situated near Dunshaughlin Village in County Meath, one of the most historic regions in Ireland. It contains many ancient monuments including the great Neolithic passage tombs of the Boyne (Newgrange, Knowth, Dowth) and Loughcrew, the Iron Age site at the Hill of Tara, the Early Christian site at Slane, the Anglo-Norman St John’s castle at Trim and many medieval churches and tower-houses.
Other Places to visit include Monasterboice, Mellifont Abbey, Trim Heritage Centre, Dunsany Castle, Oldcastle, Kells and Navan. Rathbeggan Country House is ideally located for visiting Dublin City and 15 minutes drive from the National aquatic centre.
