Car Hire
If you are looking for car hire in Portugal as a way to get from Airport to Hibiscus, I am happy to recommend Auto Jardim Car Hire. They have always been very reliable and the prices are extremely competitive. They will deliver directly to Hibiscus or alternatively collect the car from their local office in Carvoeiro, as well as return for the pick up of the vehicle. Or you can have a car hire delivered to your doorstep, and then return it back to the airport at the end of the holiday. 

Car hire rates tend to rise a bit during high season, especially if there is a shortage of cars, which is common during July/August - so book early if you can, whatever option you decide on.

If you would prefer to get a taxi (see Taxi Transfer Service below) directly to Hibiscus and have only a few days rental, pick up and drop off at Hibiscus can also be arranged.  

Driving
From Faro Airport:
 Takes about 40/45 minutes (about 30 minutes on the motorway)
From Lisbon Airport:
 Takes about 2.5-3 hours

Taxi Transfer
We use a 100% reliable and English speaking taxi service - http://www.algarvetaxi.com. The cost of taxi from Airport to Hibiscus Gardens for 4 persons (including children/babies) is €51. 5/6 persons is €55.  If you want to pay by card rather than cash, let them know in advance to ensure they bring their machine with them.  However, A card machine cannot always been guaranteed and there is a surcharge for this service of 2.5%.  Note:  New laws oblige the taxi services to charge 20% more on all flight arrivals after 21.00 until midnight.  Departures between midnight and 06.00 have a standard surcharge of 15 Euro.

There is a restaurant on site which, although not open all year round for lunch, is always open to provide coffee, snacks, alcoholic and soft drinks. The restaurant has an 'honesty bar' - you write down what you take and pay at the end of the holiday.

There is a well equipped gym on site which is free to use. Bikes are available to hire from Reception. Childminding can be arranged. There is plenty of parking available within the Development.

There are 3 pools (one large one with baby pool close to the bar) and 2 further pools around the complex.

This is a perfect place for families with babies and young children as we are in a safe, gated community. Carvoeiro also great night-life for those who want to party with a 10 minute walk down to the centre of the village. We are above the village in Monte Carvoeiro which is quiet and peaceful. Monte Carvoeiro has it's own community of restaurants and bars just a few minutes walk away.

Work out in the gym or relax by one of the delightful pools, enjoy a cocktail and a snack at the pool bar or simply relax from the private roof terrace or tropical garden of my villa.

Villa number 11 is a modern 2 bedroom luxurious property perfect for up to 4 people, ideal for friends or family, which is accessed via landscaped stone steps to a fully self equipped kitchen featuring Portuguese marble worktops, serving an open plan living / dining area with double doors opening onto a stone patio and landscaped gardens with alfresco dining table, chairs and sun loungers, completing the ground floor accommodation is a twin bedroom with built in wardrobes and fully tiled Bathroom with shower and marble counter tops. A feature staircase leads the way to the first floor landing accessing the master bedroom with double bed, built-in wardrobes and fully tiled en-suite bathroom complete with bath and marble counter tops. From the seating area in the landing you access the roof top terrace with views over Carvoeiro and the Algarve complete with sun loungers and out door seating, perfect for night time entertaining.
